Off Limits - Josh Dunkley

Eighty Five

We get home and I plonk myself down on the couch while I wait for everyone to have showers and get themselves organised. 

Surprisingly, Josh took longer then Em to get ready as he was struggling with an outfit, so I went up and helped him a bit. He ended up chucking on some jeans and a top, with a jacket, which is what he originally was going to wear. 

We run out of the house and to the car where we drive down to a club the rest of the boys are going to be at. Apparently it's a new club and they've been wanting to check it out for months, so of course, we go there. 

I park the car in an empty car spot before we all jump out and head straight into the club. Perks of dating an AFL player is that we get to jump the line, although the guard was giving Em and I the side eye because he thought we were tryna sneak in with Marcus and Josh, but the boys made it known that we're their girlfriends, which made the guard shut up. 

We walk through the club and to the VIP area where Baz, Naughts, Cody and Ads are already there. Baz has already had a few too many drinks because he comes up to me and pulls me in for a tight hug, when he literally just saw me not even an hour ago. 

"AH you've arrived." Naughts says and I laugh as he hands me over a drink. 

"What even is this?" 

"No clue." Aaron says and I roll my eyes. 

"Then you don't just hand someone a random drink, it could be spiked." 

"Oh true." He says and I laugh. 

"I don't think you understand how much I love you Tahls." Baz says which makes Josh raise an eyebrow. 

"Aw love you too Baz... as a mate though." 

"Yeah of course, as a mate." He says holding his hand out so we can do the handshake we created a few weeks ago which makes Josh relax a bit. 

"I think he's a bit drunk." Josh yells into my ear and I nod. 

"You think?" I yell back which makes him chuckle. 

"Alright do you want your usual Tahls?" Marcus asks and I shake my head. 

"Nah I don't really feel like drinking tonight, just get me a lemonade. I'll have to drive home anyways." I say and Marcus nods before him and Josh head over to the bar. 

"This is gonna be so fun!" Em says grabbing my hands and forcing me to dance with her to the music, which I give in. The song that was playing was a bop so of course I couldn't help but dance to it. 

Marcus and Josh return with our drinks not long later and I thank the both of them as they start bopping away to the next song that has come on. 

"Not drinking tonight?" I ask Ads over the music. 

"Nah I'm just gonna have a few, but I don't really feel like getting drunk." He says and I nod as we watch Marcus and Em really get into the music which makes me want to throw up as he's literally my brother. But then again it is cute seeing them both so happy and letting loose. I decide to turn back and focus my attention on Ads and Josh's conversation which basically consists of going to Noosa in the next couple of weeks.
