The Nap

Fred laid back down on my chest and I continued to run my hands through his hair. 'Ive missed you' I whispered although I wasnt quite sure he heard me I said it so quietly. 'Godric have I missed you so much' I whispered as I ran my hands through his hair and down his arms.

'Ive always been here princess' he told me placing a small kiss on my chest before tilting his head up to me. 

'I know. I just missed this. I missed us just being us' I said as he placed a small kiss onto my lips. 'I told you. We have a date night now. Ill get Georgie to agree dont worry' he said looking into my eyes. I smiled down at him. 

'What you thinking?' he asked when I had been staring for just a little bit too long. 'How lucky I am. And how completely and utterly in love with you I am.' I told him and he smiled lifting his face up to place another longer kiss on my lips. 'Oh princess' he muttered. 'Im completely in love with you too, but if we are being honest. Im the lucky one. Im the one that has their own personal saviour. An amazingly stunning wife, two beautiful daughters-'

'My daughters too Freddie Bear' I teased running my two hands up and down his back. 'Our two gorgeous daughters. My amazingly handsome husband.' I said looking into his eyes again and he smiled. 

'We are both lucky I guess' he said and I nodded in agreement. 'I think we might just be the luckiest people on earth Freddie. Honest to Merlin. I cant see how anyone is better off than us. Even rich people dont all have what we have' I told him and he looked at me confused. 

'A dream come true' I whispered taking one of my hands from his back and wiping the hair off his forhead that fell when his brows furrowed a moment ago. 

'We have a dream come true. How many people can say that?' I asked and he shrugged. 'Not many' he said yawning and I chuckled knowing that he would be falling back to sleep soon. 

'What time it is?' he asked me. 'Ten to eight now Freddie' I told him and he sighed. 

'I love the girls. I mean I really do so fucking much. But sometimes I really want to have a nap after fucking my wife. Especially when its the first time Ive been able to since they were born. Merlin Im fucking wrecked. We need to start having sex more often so I can stop being this tired after' he said lying his head back down on my chest and sighing. I swear I felt him yawn against my chest.

I chuckled and looked down at him, Merlin was he gorgeous. He moved his arms up slightly to grab the pillow that was under my head causing his muscles in his arms and back to contract. I ran my hands up and down his arms. 

'Freddie have I ever told you how amazingly beautiful you are' I asked and he nodded into my chest. I could tell by even the way he was lying that he was almost asleep right now. I know the twins have him wrecked so I decided that he should get a lie in this morning. 'Bear?' I whispered as he moved on top of me to get more comfortable. 'Mmmmh' he grunted and I giggled. Ive missed his sleepy voice. 

'Ill get up with the girls today okay. Ill come and wake you in a while so we can go to the river.' Fred rolled onto his back and looked over at me. 'No princess Ill get up. You sleep' he whispered sleepily as he made to get out of the bed but I grabbed the top of his arm to stop him. 'Bear. Ill get up. Its okay really. You need a sleep' I said and he nodded gratefully. 'You sure?' he asked me but his eyes were already closing and I knew he was seconds away from being fully asleep. 

'Im sure. Ill see you in a bit my love' I whispered leaning over and placing a small kiss on his temple and covering him with the blanket. I went into the bathroom and quickly washed, dried and dressed myself before brushing my teeth and heading down stairs, hoping to get in at least half a cup of coffee before my daughters decided to wake up. 

'Moooooooorning' George called from the kitchen stove as I walked into the room and grabbed a packet of cigarettes off the counter and switched on the kettle on my way over to the back door. 'Morning Georgie' I said as I opened the door and stood outside. 'Your in a good mood' he told me with a chuckle and I smiled back at him as he walked outside with two cups in his hand.

'Already had your coffee made' he said as he handed me a cup and placed a small kiss on my cheek. 'How was work yesterday?' he asked me sitting down and patting the seat beside him for me to sit down next to him. 

'Busy' I said taking a mouthful of the coffee and I could see George with a cheeky grin on his face from the other side of my mug. 'What?' I asked placing the coffee down beside me and picking the cigarette up from the ash tray and lighting it again. 

'You had sex' he said and I laughed. I knew George would know. I mean hes literally my best friend he knows everything about me. I just really didnt think that he would say anything about it. 

I nodded and he looked at me and started laughing. 'Took long enough' he said looking at me and I started to laugh with him. 'Hey. I just pushed two girls out of this' I motioned towards my crotch 'you would wait a while too' I told him and he laughed. 

'Why we plan to adopt' he said but stopped after and took a mouthful of coffee. Im pretty sure he wasnt supposed to tell me that. 'George?' I whispered and he looked at me. 

'You and Lee want kids?' I questioned now whispering for some unknown reason. He nodded and I smiled at him. 

'Merlin Georgie you would be a great dad. Just think of how good you are with our girls and now you would have your own kids. Really you and Lee would be unreal parents.' I told him and he nodded deep in thought. 

'What?' I questioned, knowing that he always assumes the worst in situations like this. 'Lee wants to have kids' he whispered even quieter. 'You dont?' I asked and he shook his head. 

'Thats okay Georgie. Im sorry I got so excited thinking about it. Its always going to be your choice whether you want to have kids or not.' I said and he moved closer to me and wrapped an arm around me. 

'Maybe I will want to someday. But Im not ready now. Im not sure if Lee understands that. Hes wanted to be a dad since he found out that you were pregnant, mhmmhm' he mumbled and I nodded knowing what he wanted to say but was too afraid to say in case he upset me.

'Lee wanted to have kids since he found out that I was pregnant with Angel in sixth year' I finished for him and he nodded. 'I didnt mean to bring it up. I know its not nice to talk about' he said as he looked at the ground sadly.

'Captain' I called making him look back up at me. 'I dont mind talking about Angel I really dont. Sure its hard sometimes like on the anniversary of when I lost him or on the day that should be his birthday but really, its okay to talk to me about it. I know you lost soemone too' I said and he smiled at me. 

'How are you so cool about it?' he asked me and I shrugged. 'I think Ive just realised that somehow talking about Angel makes me feel like hes alive and hes here and he can meet his little sisters and run around with his dad and his uncle. I know hes not alive, there is nothing that I can do to fix that, but really, talking about him makes it feel a little bit better.'

George nodded at me and went back to drinking his coffee. 'You know you can talk to him' I said not really knowing why I was telling this to George but feeling as though he needed to hear it. 'Fred and I we talk to Angel all the time. In the mornings, at night, good days, bad days, his birthday. Any time really. Fred always talks to him when he sees angel rays, he feels as though his son is looking for him' I said sniffing slightly. George pulled me into his side tighter and kissed the top of my head. 

'You and Fred are honestly the most amazing couple I have ever met. Me and Lee dont really agree on anything anymore, especially not when it comes to kids' he said and I could almost hear the heartbreak in his voice.
