a facade of the past,

slowly creeps under the mat,

coming when you least expect it,

like a ghost haunting for your fears,

a west wind bringing heavy clouds,

storms & lightnings are coming behold

black and white stones in the road,

i'm looking out for the border untold.

a lone wolf left in its cave waiting,

howling, crying, finding its lost wing,

he dreamt of flying like an eagle,

up across borders, up and away from the cities' rumbles.

awoo! awoo! awoo!

it slowly creeps in my soul,

coming when you least expect it,

loneliness with all her cousins.
