Poems for Her

my favorite book

I treated her as
a whole chapter
in my book

whilst i was only
a page in hers

and i can't help putting
her name in it

'cause she is the nicest
idea that i've got

i want her name
to remain alive—thriving
and soaring into its legacy

as if i am the
best-selling author

as if she chose me
and gave me the keys
on her heart's door

but every fairytale
has its own ending

i ended up hopeless
and 'til now i'm still
mending in vain and waiting.
