I step out my house with my gloves on. I look up in the sky and take a few seconds to think before I search for Monika. I wonder, if this ends will I ever be able to see them again? Especially Sayori.. I shouldn't assume things just yet.
The first place to check is the school. I'm guessing she'll be there since she is there most of the time in the game. I walk to school and the gate is closed. "How can I.." I look around for another entrance but there was none. I look at the gate again. Maybe I can jump over?
I jump putting both of my hands on the top of the gate and push my self up as much as I can over the gate. I land on my feet but almost fell over. I quickly run into the school and look around for anything that is off from anything else here.
Wait.. this is Monika I'm talking about.. maybe she could be somewhere more obvious? She does like playing piano, maybe I can find her in the piano room. I walk my way to the piano room. I stopped infront of the door and kind of feel a pressure when I'm here. It's like something is trying to pull me in.
I think she knows I'm here. I open the door to see a empty room with just a piano. I walk over to the windows and realize that outside looks like the sky, but repulsive. Isn't this where it ends? The door closes behind me and I turn to see Monika sitting at the piano looking at me.
"Monika? Hey um.. is this the room where the game e-" I ask as I get cut off.
"Yes" She quickly responded. She taps on the chair telling me to sit with her. Monika pulls me in and hugs me tight. "I'm happy that your here." She said.
"Wait.. are you the one who brought me here?" I asked curiously. She let's go.
"Yes I am the one. After all I am more than just code." She responded. Well that does make sense.
"Why? Why me?" I asked her. She looked into my eyes.
"There is something really special about you.. something you can only do, but I'm not allowed to say it just yet." She said.
"Wow.." I take off my glove and look at my faded hand.
"So I have some kind of gift?"
"Yeah, pretty much." She answered as she put her hand over mine and suddenly my hand slowly went back to normal. "As you progress to fix everyone's problems you slowly fade away."
I look at her shocked at what she just said. "I can just die trying to help them?" I ask nervously.
"As long as I'm here and still able to use my abilities I can help you." She said as I sigh in relief.
"Also how am I here? Are we in some kind of pocket dimension or something?" I asked as I look around the room then back at her.
"Well no, more like we are in a multiverse. There is plenty of different kind of people out there that are us." She said. Wait so that will mean that all of this could be real and not really just a game?
"Can my reality be somehow connected to this one?" I ask. Monika looks down thinking to herself.
"Yeah possibly, it can be why it was pretty easy to get a hold of you." She said then I nodded to her.
"Alright, I think I get it now." I walk over to the door to leave.
"Wait!" Monika yelled. I look at her with a curious expression. "Good luck, and thank you for trying so hard to save us.. I-I love you.." She said as she went quiet at the end.
I smile, "Your welcome." I say as I leave the piano room then made my way out the school then back home. I need to save everyone, I'll do everything in my power to help them and go back home. Even if it puts my life in danger.
