Monika's POV
I grab my paperwork and materials then put it inside my bag. I pick up my bag and walk out my house locking it before I head to school. Suddenly I hear my phone ring, it's Natsuki?
"Hey Natsuki wha-" I get cut off.
"Mike needs help! I t-think he's.. he's dying..!" Natsuki says sounding scared. Wait, dying? Oh no.. maybe his body is beginning to disappear. I need to hurry.
"I'll be there soon!" I say as I hang up the phone. Prepping for the festival is going to have to wait! I run my way to Mike's house. I see Sayori sitting outside his house, maybe waiting for him.
"Sayori is he ok!?" I say to her. Sayori looks at me with a concerned look.
"Who?" She responds. Natsuki then opens the door and I go in and Sayori follows with us.
"What's going on? Did something happen to Mike?" Sayori asks.
I nod then Sayori got a worried expression.
"He's in his room!" Natsuki says. We make our way upstairs to his room to see Mike laying there on his bed fading away slowly.
"Mike!" Sayori yells as she runs to the bed Mike is laying on.
"Mike are you ok?!" She says as she held onto his hand. Mike doesn't move or give any sign that he is conscious.
"M-Mike..." Sayori says as she starts to burst into tears. Maybe it's not to late. I touch his head. If I do this it can maybe kill me.. but I must. I'm not letting anyone die! We are so close to escaping! I close my eyes and think of what I want to do, pushing some of my life into him.
I start to feel weak and light-headed. His arms restores and looks like his chest too. But I can see that it's still fading a little. Which can be enough time if I plan this accordingly.
"Now he should wake up within a few days, maybe more." I say as I sit down to recapture my self. Sayori looks at me and Natsuki.
"What is going on? Why does Mike.. look like he is.. fading?" Sayori asks. Me and Natsuki look at each other then I sigh.
"Alright.. looks like I have to explain everything to you.." I say. I then explain to her what is going on with Mike and about how we are in a game. Sayori gets a shocked look on her face. I don't blame her, this is most likey a lot to take in. Since you figure out your whole life you've been living in a game being controlled by a script.
Sayori sits down on the bed, looks like she's trying to process everything. I look at Mike. I just hope he's ok.. I don't know what I'll do without him. Time passes to school when it was club time. Me and Natsuki decided to go to school to prepare for the festival. As I enter the club room I get greeted by Yuri.
"Hey Monika! Do you know where Mike and Sayori are by chance? They haven't come in yet." Yuri asked. From the corner of my eye I see Natsuki glances at me for a split-second.
"Oh uh.. they are sick. I don't know why though." I answered as Yuri gives me a concerned look.
"Ok then, just making sure." She says as she sits at her desk. I then go over to the teacher's desk and set my things down also putting my materials on it.
"Alright everyone, it's time to prepare!" Me, Natsuki and Yuri starts working on our materials for our side of the room. I hope Mike wakes up before the festival so he can do his side. It'll be nice to see his creativity.
When it was over, we made some progress on our sides. I was able to put lights that are green on the wall. Also, I was able to put a carpet with the piano tiles on it. Yuri put a few books that I did not really recognize, and an scent air machine. From what I heard, they let out a scent to change the moods atmosphere. Not a bad idea at all honestly.
Lastly, Natsuki put a book called "Parfait Girls", also some plushies of animals. There's also a note on the book that says "Put a crease or dent on this book and I'll break your nose!" I don't think anyone is touching the book now. I can't wait to see how this room will look at the festival.
I make my way home. I also texted Sayori to let me know if anything happens with Mike.
Time passes to friday. Me, Natsuki and Yuri was able to finish. Sayori was able to do a bit while at Mike's. Just 2 more days until the festival. I wonder how Mike is currently doing. Suddenly, I get a call from Sayori then I answer it.
"Hello?" I ask.
"I think Mike is waking up!" Sayori yelled into the phone. I quickly leave my house and run to Mike's. I make my way inside then upstairs to his room to see Sayori and Natsuki hugging Mike. I smile at the view of this moment.
"O-Oh hey Monika!" Mike struggles to say being hugged to death.
