(Welcome to my first fanfic! I hope you enjoy! Also, I'll be updating regularly. )

Damn...
I've been sitting here for a while now thinking on how to beat this game Doki Doki Literature Club. It seems like there are only two endings, and they are very bad either way.

I got up from my desk and left my room, heading down the stairs. Mom is still not here, she's been missing for days, and yet we haven't heard nothing about her. I hope she's alright.

I walk into the kitchen and found my dad sleeping on the floor with a bunch of bottles around him. He's been drinking again... I which I can help, but he always pushes me away.

I walk over him to the fridge, I open it and grab a cold water bottle and head back upstairs to my room. I sit down at my desk and drink some water. I look back at my computer screen and there was dialogue that popped up.

"Do you want to be happy...?" I repeated. What does this mean? There was a yes and no option, I thought about it for a little and decided to click yes.

Suddenly the lights to my house turned off, what the hell is going on here? "Dad! Was that you?" I yell but no response. A bright white light started coming from my computer screen. I cover my eyes from the light and uncover since the light went away.

I was somewhere else... Somewhere familiar? I looked around the room I was in, and it looked exactly like the MCs room in the game. I then looked down at what I'm wearing, a white t-shirt with shorts.

These were not what I was wearing before... wait... am I in the game? I quickly ran downstairs of the house and the kitchen looked exactly the same from the game.

I pulled out the phone I had in my pocket and went to the calendar app to see that it's Sunday, a day before Monday. Guessing that's when school starts? I put my phone away and walked out my house.

I looked at the house beside me and looked like Sayori's house. If this is real, I need to see if anyone else is. I opened the gate to her house and knocked on the door.

After a minute, someone opens the door and looks at me in shock. This girl had a blonde pink shade of hair with light blue eyes. Yep, this is most definitely her. "O-Oh Mike hey! I didn't expect you to come by." Sayori said.

"Yeah, just wanted to say hi and see how you were doing." I responded. Although this is crazy, how did I get here? Why am I here? Is there some kind of purpose?

"Aw, that's nice of you. Say, umm, ... you can come in if you'd like." She said, sounding kinda worried. "Oh yeah sure!" I responded. We went inside and sat in the living room on the couch. This house looks messed up, there's just stuff lying around.

Sayori looked at me concerned, "Where have you been? Are you ok?" She said. What does she mean? Did something happen? "Yeah, I'm completely fine." "That's good to hear" She responded.

We talked for a bit about the past and how things are going. But, one thing that got me off guard is how unhappy she is. I know what happens later, hopefully I can fix that before it happens.

"Hey Sayori? Would you like to maybe uh... go hangout? Like the good old times?" I asked. She looked surprised for a second, "Sure! I would love to! But first I need to eat breakfast." She responded.

After she ate, she went upstairs and got ready, after that we headed out. "So, where are we going?" She asked, "I thought of a few ideas... how about an arcade?" I responded.

Sayori looked at me with an excited expression. Now that I get A good look at her, she's really cute. She agreed and head to the arcade. We played a couple of racing games and I won everyone one of them. Then we got to play a fighter, and she beat me in it many times, which surprised me.

I also won her a big cow plushie that she loved very much. She smiled the whole time at the arcade. I also did, too. This is probably the most fun I've ever had. I have got to thank whoever sent me here.

It was getting dark, so we head home and stopped in front of her house. "Thanks for hanging out today" She said, hugging the big cow plushie. "No problem" I responded, then she placed the cow plush on the ground and hugged me tight.

"I've missed you..." Sayori whispered. I hugged back. When she pulled away, I saw her face as red as a cherry. Then we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways into our houses. I walked upstairs and immediately got into bed. I looked up at the ceiling.

"Today didn't go bad at all... it was..." I said as I slowly doze off, "Fun..."
