9: "It's always a good day for the arcade and ramen!"

"Is it okay to be up here on the rooftop?" You ask while leaning back on a chair, so the two back legs were solely holding you up.

"Staff said it's not allowed BUT that only applies if ya don't get caught comin' up here," Ryuji says as he and Ren play a card game together. "Damn it, that's the third time!" He yells as Ren places down a card that messes him up.

"Ugh, will you please be quiet? We'll be caught soon enough if you keep yelling like that," Ann scolds.

"Lady Ann is right," Morgana concludes. "But if I had a say in this, I think all of you should be studying instead of messing around up here. Finals are coming up soon."

"He's right. I've got better things to do than stick around here doing nothing," you say getting up from your seat.

"Hey, don't move yet! I'm not done with your hair," Ann says pushing you back down on the seat with force. You stare straight forward and watch Ryuji and Ren play their game.

"Don't look at me. I can't help you," Ren says placing another card down while smirking. You groan and just succumb to Ann's wishes.

"What are you doing to her hair?" Morgana asks.

"It's a new hairstyle I'm trying to practice. I find it easier to learn on other people and then myself," Ann says tying your hair back with a rubber band. "Aaannd...Voila! I'm done!" Everyone turns to look at you and you squirm under their stares.

"You look weird," Ryuji says tilting his head.

'Great.'

You tsk and stand up, "Yeah? What else is new?"

"Don't be mean! And besides, that's my work of art!" Ann yells.

'We're definitely gonna get caught up here at this rate.'

"I wasn't tryin' to be mean. I just meant it was different is all," Ryuji defends himself.

"Don't listen to Ryuji. He has the IQ of gum on the sidewalk," Morgana laughs.

"I think it looks nice," Ren comments.

"Can I take this out now?" You ask while pointing to your head.

"But I worked so hard on it," Ann says with puppy-like eyes.

You sigh and hold the crease in between your brows, holding your composure as best as possible. "Fine. It stays," you agree against your will.

"I didn't think that would work," Ren says amazed while applauding Ann.

"It's Lady Ann we're talking about. She has the charm of a goddess," Morgana compliments.

'Tone it down there...'

"Our lunch break is almost over," Ann says checking the time on her phone.

"We didn't accomplish anything by being up here," you say.

"We tried to find more targets but none of them were concerning enough or had full names."

"It's only been a few days but I'm already feelin' restless," Ryuji sighs disappointed as he slumps in his chair.

You cringe at the thought of Mementos. After your first time there with the group, a few more requests were found on the Phan-Site so the Phantom Thieves decided to act quickly before things could escalate further.
