2: "Come... Arsène!"

"You're a burden to your parents as well, right?"

"I bet that's why your stepdad-"

"Stop! Please! Why are you saying this to me?"

"You always tell them when you have a problem right? Don't you think they're tired of having to deal with you?"

"What do my parents have to do with this? You already told me you don't want to be friends anymore! Just leave me alone! Please!"

"Your stepdad is the one who told my dad! You cause problems for us and them! For everyone! That's why our parents don't want us hanging out with you either!"

"Your mom and stepdad don't deserve a kid as troublesome as you. Maybe they should have a new kid and get rid of the old one."

'They're right... it hurts but they're absolutely right. Nobody should have to deal with someone like me. It's my fault... It's all my fault.'

Slam!

You groan as you slowly and unwillingly wake up from your deep slumber. You hadn't anticipated yesterday's workload being so exhausting but thanks to that, you slept like a rock.

After finally finding the will to get up, you get ready for school and head over to your door in a sleepy daze. Just as you step outside, you take a whiff of the air.

'Ah. It's going to rain again...'

You're about to go back inside for your umbrella when a sudden thought hits you.

'Crap. I gave it to Sakamoto on Saturday...'

After letting out another groan, you slowly walk down the stairs of your apartment complex whilst contemplating all of your poor life decisions as you make your way over to Leblanc.

Stepping inside the coffee shop, you stop in your tracks when you see the teenage boy from Saturday sitting down at the bar eating some of Sojiro's homemade curry. He looks at you and gives a small smile and you look away.

'I completely forgot about him... shit. I have to take him to school today too.'

You begin to mentally scold yourself again for the second time this morning for the decisions you previously made.

'Damn it... what was his name again? I can't remember!'

"Good morning," Sojiro says interrupting your thoughts. "Have a seat." He places down a plate of breakfast for you and you notice he purposely places your plate a few seats away from the teenage boy and you silently thank Sojiro. He gives you a wink and continues to do his morning tasks. You quickly scarf down your spicy food and you're instantly awake. You sneakily take a glance at the boy next to you and see his plate was finished too. "Are you guys done?"

"Yes," you both answer at the same time.

You flush and try not to pay it any mind. You quickly recover. "Thank you for the food."

"No problem." Sojiro then turns to the boy. "This is Y/n L/n. She goes to Shujin academy too and she so gracefully accepted to show you the way to school on the subway and your classroom. Be grateful and thank her properly."

You weren't particularly fond of introductions, so you were glad you didn't have to introduce yourself. You turn to the boy and give a faint smile. He offers his hand and you stare at it, debating what to do. You hesitantly take it and he gives a gentle handshake.
