This is a loooong freaking chapter- I got a little too ahead of myself- oopsies 😳

But I guess it's to repay the day I took off to rest yesterday- which again I'm still sorry for

Also- sorry it this is kinda poorly written- I wrote this during a sickness myself LMFAOO

⚠️THE BEGINNING OF THE CHAPTER IS HAVILY INSPIRED BY ANOTHER AUTHOR CALLED "psycho-ishpan" I LOVED THE CONCEPT OF HOW THEIR CHAPTER STARTED, SO IT IF SEEMS FAMILIAR THAT'S WHY (I wanted to steer off from their story after a couple paragraphs so it'd be my own story)⚠️

~~~~~~~~~~~4 day time skip~~~~~~~~~~

A miserable groan left your lips as you climbed yourself out of bed, the mere ache of your head was a reminder that this day was to be the worst as they come

Your feet touched the cold floor next to your bed as you sat on the edge of it, contemplating if you should even get up at all

You were wearing pyjama shorts with a t-shirt, you slept with light clothing on since you were underneath fluffy blankets, but still the freezing temperatures in the castle was unbearable

'There's a grand fireplace in the castle.. I'm confused on how it's still so cold' you thought to yourself in confusion, but the castle was still pretty huge, and one singular fireplace obviously couldn't keep the whole place warm

By now on a typical day you'd be up and assisting in the tasks needing to be complete, sometimes even being alongside your lady all day making sure she didn't need anything and if she did, to help her with the best of your abilities

Your eyes glanced at the clock and it was already 4:32pm 'I wonder if Alcina has remarked my absence..' you sniffled softly due to your stuffed nose

'I should probably get up to at least try and get one to two chores done and try to explain why I couldn't fulfill them at 100%'

Regardless, even if you tried to stand from your bed, you know you wouldn't be much of an aid in the castle, already having missed most of the day in much needed slumber

Your head ached, you squeezed your eyes shut to try and soothe it but of course, it didn't do much

A knock chimed at your door, the sound loud enough to trigger a pulsing pain through your skull

"May I enter, dear?"

You heard a voice coming from the other side, you heard that soft yet powerful voice millions of times before, it was your lady

"You... may." You replied weakly, holding your head in your hands to try and soothe the echos of pain passing through

The door creaked open and soon her crouched figure passed through, her gorgeous golden eyes immediately locked onto you, you need not to look at her to know confusion was plastered on her face, never a day living in the castle have you stayed in bed this late, so immediately, she thought something was terribly wrong

"Oh my.." she muttered, immediately crouching down before you, her gloved fingers guided your chin left to right, immediately noticing the red tint over your cheeks and nose and your pained expression that flickered through your face

She removed her glove and placed the back side of her hand on your forehead, feeling the immediate blazing warmth you created, her cold skin pressed up against your scorching hot forehead felt like heaven
