Surprise

When you woke up you felt pretty disoriented, the pounding sensation in your mind kept waking you up throughout the night so you couldn't necessarily sleep well

The tenseness of your muscles was the thing keeping you from getting up right away

'Man..what happened last night?..' you lead your hands to your face and rubbed your eyes

Then sudden flashbacks ran through your mind of the pretty eventful night you encountered with such foul beast and groaned

"Ughhh, I can't wait to see Alcina today" you sighed "I need a hug from her after all of this"

You pushed yourself up so you'd be in a sitting position, the creaking of the bed was a bit loud

'Gosh..I can tell these beds don't get used very often' you swung your feet off to the side of the mattress 'it would make sense, Donna's the only one who lives here'

You rubbed the back of your head carefully 'ouch..' stumbling towards the door, you wobbled slightly 'woah'

When you stepped into the hallway the bright lights caught your eyes immediately, making you blink them a couple of times

Miserable groans left your lips as the aching feeling of you falling in yesterday's incident lingered through your core

You walked towards the kitchen, scratching the back of your neck tiredly

"Mom! You're awake!" A voice called out happily

You focused your eyes to the person talking, Bela

"Good morning dears" you smiled and walked towards the three sitting at the dining table

"Good morning" Cassandra answered

"G'morning mom!" Daniela replied while shoving a spoonful of cereal in her mouth

You chuckled slightly and sat down on one of the chairs where your daughters were situated

"How'd you sleep girls?" You asked and looked towards the kitchen, Donna and Angie were inside cooking what you assumed breakfast

"Hmm, not so bad actually" Cassandra answered first

"Amaazinglyy! Donna's beds are always comfy" Daniela grinned

"Comfier than your bed at home?" You rose an eyebrow curious of her reply

"Oh no no! Nothing could beat the bed at our castle, that ones so fluffy and cozy" the youngest stated

'Hmm, that is true, my lady and I's bed is rather comfortable- seems to be the luxury of living in a castle' you thought

Daniela carried on with eating her cereal

Turning towards Bela, you noticed she was looking outside the window

"What about you Bela? How'd you sleep?"

It seems as if you pulled her out of thought when you called out her name "hm? Oh I slept well, what about you?"

"Ehh, I couldn't sleep very well- obviously since past events" you clasped your hands together

"I'm sorry to hear that mom, hopefully tonight you'll be able to get some better rest, especially after the surprise" Bela gave you a sly smile

'Oh, I actually forgot about the surprise!!' Excited filled your mind when you got reminded

"Shh! Don't tell her anything!" Cassandra sat up straighter than she was looking at the oldest out of the three

"I'm not!" Bela defended "I was just sayingg!"
