"For it is desire that can leave someone stumbling upon unfortunate situations."

I'm not one for poems but this one's for you,

You crush my dreams yet you look like one,

Make me tremble in shock and in disbelief,

Leaving me nightmares that would last for long

Yet your delicate touch is all I long for.

Eyes piercing into my broken soul,

How mesmerizing even if it is just a pair of lifeless, brown eyes,

Your lips parting to mutter words that shatter me yet it feels as if we'd find the pieces together.

As I scream in agony,

You would kiss me slowly, stopping time,

Making me dizzy and swept away by desire

Yet the pain now is too unbearable for it just another game,

Your eyes brim with passion,

It was all an illusion,

You loved seeing me wrapped around your finger.

What can I do?

With my sworn enemy softly killing me with his lips,

Sneaking a sharp dagger and digging it deep into my waist,

Falling to the ground,

Slowly losing life,

Oh, how lovely that it all ended with a kiss.

He was the villain all along,

Playing the hero and leading her to her horrible death.

"For it is desire that can leave someone stumbling upon unfortunate situations."
