Sometimes loving someone,

And them loving you,

It's not enough to keep you together.

Sometimes you are willing to spend a lifetime with someone,

And they, too, share the same willingness to be with you,

You both share a mutual love that never seems to conclude,

But as firm as you both stood,

As long as you both stayed, standing still,

Sometimes it's not enough to have a will,

Because the universe will always find a way

To tuck it all away.
