Izuku, Kaminari, Aizawa, and Yamada stayed home for several days. Nezu and the staff were understanding of the situation and gave them the time they needed. They all mostly stayed cuddled on the couch and watched family moves together.

Midnight stopped by ever so often to check on them and bring them snacks she knew they liked. Aizawa and Yamada were quick to get Kaminari put into their care. Apparently, Electra had listed that they gain custody of him if anything were to happen. She had it changed the same day she met Izuku.

She wrote that if the two of them got separated it would only cause him more pain. Oddly enough after only a day Izuku and Kaminari are back to acting how they always act with each other. It's like what they did that day no longer happened. The others decided to just ignore it not wanting to trigger anything.

Yamada and Aizawa were doing a lot better and decided to do the Sports Festival. Izuku and Kaminari didn't want to stay there alone so they decided to go cheer on their friends. Neither wanted to participate. Both boys sat in a private viewing room provided by Nezu.

'Are you sure you're ok being here?' Izuku asked.

'Yeah...I want to cheer for them in person. My mom wouldn't want me to sit around being sad so I won't' Kaminari said running his fingers along Izuku's scales.

Izuku was sitting upright in a chair with Kaminari sideways in his lap. No one had a problem with this since they both started having panic attacks when separated. Kaminari laid his head on Izuku's chest, quietly listening to Izuku's heartbeat.

Izuku started to hum only to start coughing seconds later. He reached down grabbed his bottle of water and took a sip. He then handed it to Kamimari who took a small sip. He placed it back on the ground.

He then reached up touching the choker Izuku never took off. His eyes started to water and Izuku grabbed his hand kissing it before placing it back in Kaminari's lap.

'Stop doing this to yourself, I don't like it when you cry' Izuku said wiping Kaminari's eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, whenever I see it I start to think about how sad I'd be if you were gone," Kaminari said quietly still crying.

Izuku intertwined their hands, 'I'm not going anywhere anytime soon'

There was a knock on the door before it opened. Their usual group of boys entered the room and closed the door. They walked over and Bakugo sat a warm bag on the side table.

"Principal Nezu sent food for you two," Shoto said taking a seat.

Kirishima crouched in front of Kaminari with a frown, "You don't have to be here if it's too much for you."

Kaminari wiped his eyes, "No I'm fine, I want to support you guys. You've been really nice to me and I want to show my appreciation."

"We'll give you guys some privacy, " Shinso pulled Shoto up "We'll stop by during lunch and breaks" With that the mates left.

"You don't have to show us anything. We're nice because we're your friends and we care for you." Kirishima wiped the tears from Kamimari's face.

"Uh, we've been talking and we decided on something. We know Deku isn't fully comfortable with us like he is with you. We also know that you don't have mates of your own.

I think this weird bond you two have knows that too. So whenever you two are going through your heat or if you just need comfort or support you'd get from a mate.

We don't mind you two finding that comfort in each other. In all honesty, we weren't really that upset by what happened when you two were alone. I don't know if it's our bond with you two or if we just personally don't mind." Bakugo sighed.
