Thrown into Middle earth.

"This Forest is freaky."

Elise Pov

We rode on to Mirkwood and well.... it's dark and freaky.
"The Elven Gate. Here lies our path... through Mirkwood. No sign of the Orcs. We have luck on our side." Gandalf said as we pulled up.
I hopped off Rose and put on my bag and cloak.
" This forest... feels Freaky and.. sick. As if a disease lies upon it. Is there no way around it?" I asked looking at the guys.
"Not unless we go 200 miles north. Or twice that distance... south." Thorin said coming over to me with the map.
"Oh? Great...."
He nodded and I can tell he wants to talk about something.
No not this.
"Ok well let's get going?" I kissed Rose and sent her with Gandalf before entering the Freaky Forest.

We managed to escape the spiders only to be cornered by more.
I took out my dagger and killed one but there are too many.
"Careful!" Kili shouted as we're having trouble with one when it's shot by an arrow and Thorin pulled me over as a bleach blonde elf killed it and held his arrow to our face.
"Do not think I won't kill you, Dwarf. It would be my pleasure."
I went to pull out my dagger but Thorin held my arm which means no.
"Ah! Help!" We heard Kili yell.
"Kili!" Fili shouted looking for his brother and we saw him about to get eaten by a spider when a red haired Elf girl came swinging in and fought the others while the one about to go to Kili was creeping slowly.
"Throw me a dagger! Quick!"
"If you think I'm giving you... a weapon, Dwarf... you're mistaken!"
She threw her dagger and killed the spider.
Ok she's badass. I like her.
"Search them." The blonde said and the others started searching us and I had to step on my guys foot to make him back off.
They brought us to the palace and while the others and I were taken to the dungeon. Thorin was taken to the king.

They threw me in a cell and I had to laugh a little hearing Kili flirting with the red head.
"Aren't you going to search me? I could have anything down my trousers."
"Or nothing." She said closing the door and goes to my cell as I leaned against the wall.
"Hi. If you weren't my warden I'd ask you to teach me that move you did with the giant spider." I said with a smile and my arms crossed over my chest.
"Maybe later. Why are you traveling with these dwarves?"
"Felt like going on an adventure. I'm Elise. What's your name?"
"Tauriel." She smiled.
"Nice to meet you Tauriel. Can I ask a favor?"
She nodded suspiciously.
"You took my satchel. Could you find a way for me to get it back?"
"Maybe." She smiled and left.
I sat down by the door playing with my necklace listening to the guys hitting the doors trying to get out.
"Guys it's no use. These cells are pretty fortified." I said throwing a rock at the wall and looked as they threw Thorin in the cell next to me and I looked at him.
The cell has bars between so we can sit near each other if we wanted.
"So how you doin?"
"Not great."
"Did he offer you a deal?" Balin said from his cell.
"He did. I told him he could go ish kakhfé ai-'dur-rugnu! Him and all his kin!"
I clicked my tongue and tapped the ground.
"Well... we're going to be here for a while."
I got up and wandered around my cell.
"Are you ok?" Thorin asked sitting on his side of the bars and I sat down next him on my side.
"Just not thrilled about being a cell."
He reached through the bars and held my hand Lovingly.
I smiled feeling a little calm.
"Can I ask you something? About your past." He looked at me and I nodded in response.
"What happened to you? To cause the nightmares and the scars."
I heard the others quiet down so they can hear.
I sighed and told them.
"In my country something that happens too often are school shootings. It's when a psychopath just comes into school one day and decides to cause death and destruction everywhere. One came to my school and had rigged it with explosives. I was tasked with leading him away and I accidentally lead him to one of his explosives and.....they went off... killing almost everyone within a 2 block radius. Except me. I was in a coma for a year."
There was a silence before Fili spoke up.
"How long ago?"
"I was 13."
"I'm sorry.."
I used my free hand and wiped my tears.
"It's ok guys. It was years ago."
"No one so precious should have to go through that." I heard Thorin say and I looked at him.
"W what did you say?"
"You heard me Elise."
"So.. that's why you kissed me...? Back at the tree and eagles situation we had."
He nodded.
"I was going to wait till we got to the mountain but I don't want to. Elise I love you. I think I have since you beat me in the Halflings house. I want you to be my queen and rule alongside me. Will you?"
I smiled in shock and nodded.
"Yes. I love you too Thorin." I smiled and he kissed me through the bars.
It was a sweet loving kiss that I gladly returned.
"It's about time." We heard Kili and Fili say from their cells and we broke the kiss laughing.
"I'm glad you guys are happy." I laughed and Thorin pulled me in for another kiss.
I'm happy.

We all just started talking about random stuff till we fell asleep.
I fell asleep by Thorin with him holding my hand through the bars.

The next day we woke up and I was disappointed because I was hoping us being in jail was a dream but it's not.
Neither is Thorin and I together but that I'm happy about.
"I'll wager the sun is on the rise. Must be nearly dawn."
" We're never gonna reach the mountain, are we?" I asked in response to Balin with disappointment in my voice.
"Not stuck in here, you're not."
I gasped seeing Bilbo with the keys and my bag and the guys respond happily.
"Shh! There are guards nearby!" He said as he got us out and handed me my bag.
"Lead them downstairs to the cellar."
He told me and I nodded taking lead.
"I don't believe it. We're in the cellars!"
"You were supposed to be leading us out, not further in!"
They said as we followed Bilbo to a triangle of barrels and I saw a lever.
Oh boy.
"I know what I'm doing now Everyone... climb into the barrels quickly."
"Are you mad? They'll find us."
"They won't, I promise you. Please, please. You must trust me."
They all looked at Thorin and I.
Why me? I have no idea.
"Do as he says."
With that we all climbed in the barrels and I secured my dagger to my waist.
"What do we do now?" Fili asked
"Hold your breath." With that he pulled the lever and we all fell into the river below.
"Is everyone ok?" I asked looking at them as their barrels came up.
"We're ok. Let's go."

"No!" I shouted watching Kili get hit with the arrow.
I jumped out of my barrels ignoring the shouts of disagreement from the dwarves and I pulled the arrow out before getting him in his barrel.
"Guys get ready!" I said dodging arrows.
"Elise get back here!" Thorin shouted and I pulled the lever opening the gate.
"Look out!" Dwalin shouted as I'm almost hit with a sword.
"Whoa!" I hit him with a sticks and jumped in my barrel just before we went down the waterfall and commenced going down the river while dodging Elves and Orcs.
