Pretending

Josie Was walking through the halls of the school and felt like her mind was going to explode. She could hear every voice, every whisper every slam of the lockers. Josie groaned as she made her way into her class room and sat down. It was slightly quieter in her classroom so it helped her to calm down a little bit. She luckily wasn't hungry because she had fed that morning on the  room cleaner. Not enough to kill them but just enough to feel full. She has also compelled them to stay still while she cut there hand and filled a small flask of blood up for throughout the day.

Josie was sitting thinking in her own little world when the school bell went. Josie groaned as she held her ears at the intrusive noise. Almost instantly her class room began to fill with students who were talking and laughing. Josie felt her mood change for calm to irritable in a matter of seconds but it was a new level of irritable which made Josie want to rip each students head off just for some silence. Josie sighed and once everyone was seated she stood up "Right everyone today we are learning fire spells. Now these are dangerous and I need everyone to be silent do you understand?" The students nodded and went silent and Josie felt herself relax a little bit.

Josie had taught another 8 classes that day and used break and lunch as a time to drink some blood from the flask she had with her to keep her cravings minimal. Josie had just finished teaching her last class and was dismissing them when her phone vibrated. Picking it up she saw a text from Hope.

Hope: Hope your doing okay babe, I can't wait to see you soon. I'm counting down the days xx

Josie: I can't wait either babe, I'm counting down to xx

Josie felt happy reading Hopes text but that was soon overtaken by fear and remorse at the fact she had to lie to her girlfriend. Josie put her phone down and sat sorting out some paperwork before finally she was able to leave. Josie called her chauffer and he arrived not long after, Climbing into the car she sat down as the chauffer began driving her back to her hotel. Half way there Josie started to feel hungry, When the driver pulled into a lane Josie asked him to pull the car over. The chauffer did and as soon as he did she grabbed his face turning it to look at her before talking "Don't scream or move". The chauffer just sat frozen as Josie let her veins pulse and her fangs elongate she then bit into his neck and began drinking. Once she felt like she had had enough she pulled away. Before looking at him again "Forget what just happened and continue driving me home". The chauffer nodded as he turned back facing the front and began driving again. They soon arrived back at the hotel and Josie climbed out of the car and headed inside. Once she reached her room she laid on her bed and started crying letting all her feelings and emotions out. 

(Time skip few days)

Josie had packed her stuff and was sitting in the airport waiting for her plane. she hated how loud the airport was but she had got used to being around the noise due to the fact she had been teaching in a school. Josie was texting Hope and was feeling nervous, she had managed to keep her secret so far but it was going to be harder actually being around Hope. Josie's flight got called and she got up showing her tickets before getting on the plane. Once she was seated she quickly texted Hope before putting her phone on airplane mode and putting her earphones in. 

The journey had been long and Josie had managed to get a few hours sleep but now they had now landed at  the airport. Grabbing her stuff Josie headed off the plane and into the airport. Almost immediately she spotted Hope who was grinning so wide it looked like her face would split. Josie smiled back and walked over to her, Hope didn't even give her a chance to talk as she pulled her into a hug "Jo, baby I've missed you so much". Josie dropped her stuff and wrapped her arms around Hope feeling content for the first time in a week. After a moment Hope pulled away and Kissed Josie. they stood kissing for a while when Josie pulled away looking away from Hope as her veins pulsed. "Are you ok Jo?" Josie managed to remain calm as her veins receded and nodded "Yeah, just tired. Long flight". Hope seemed to by it as she nodded "Right, let me grab your stuff and I'll take you back to mine". Josie smiled and nodded "Sounds great". Hope grabbed her bags and they both headed through the airport talking about What Josie got up to. 

Josie had fallen asleep in Hopes car and Hope smiled looking over to her. She was happy that she had her girl back and felt all her anxieties and stress for the last week disappear. They pulled up at Hopes and Hope woke Josie "Hey baby, we're here". Josie smiled and nodded as she climbed out of the car and walked to the boot to get her stuff. Grabbing it she took it out the boot before Hope walked around to the back and took the gags off of her "Here let me". Josie smiled and nodded as she handed Hope her bags and shut the boot for her. She then followed her in and they headed straight up to Hopes room. Once inside Josie walked straight to Hopes bed laying down on it happy to be back with her girl. Hope smiled as she placed Josie's stuff next to the door and closed it before walking over and hugging her girlfriend "I missed you baby". Josie smiled as she held Hope close to her "I missed you to love".
