Lake house

(Time skip)

Hope was picking Josie up for their date. Since Josie's dad had finally decided to accept Josie, they had been spending a lot of time with each other and had gotten closer. Hope was currently sitting outside Josie's in her car waiting for her when the girl exited followed by a maid carrying her bag. Hope smiled and popped the boot before climbing out and getting the passenger door for Josie, Josie smiled and thanked her before climbing in the car. Once she was in Hope shut the door and then walked around the car to the other side climbing back in. "Ready to go?" Josie smiled and nodded and Hope started the engine before she pulled away from the house. 

As they were driving Hope and Josie made light conversation. They discussed their plans for the weekend and were both feeling excited. They stopped at a red light and Josie asked Hope if she could put some music on. Hope nodded as she handed Josie her Phone. Taking it, Josie smiled as she put the song that her and Hope had first danced to on. Josie immediately looked over to Hope who was smiling Before then turning and looking out the window also smiling. Half way through the song Josie felt A weight on her thigh, Looking down she saw it was Hopes hand. Josie felt  a feeling building in the pit of her stomach and took a deep breath before turning to look back out the window. 

Hope was humming along with the song and Josie couldn't help but listen. She could tell Hope was feeling happy as her smile hadn't left her face. They Just pulled up outside the lake house and Hope popped the boot before climbing out of the car. Walking around she opened Josie's door for her before offering Josie her hand. Josie took it and used it to help herself out the car "Thank you Hope". Hope nodded as she walked to the boot and grabbed hers and Josie's stuff. Josie of course tried to help but Hope refused as she began walking towards the front door. 

Hope unlocked the  door before grabbing their things and walking in. The place was just like she remembered and she smiled at the memories. The first place Hope went once they were inside was to the main bedroom. Walking in she put the bags on the bed and walked over to the blue tooth speakers in the corner she then set  her phone up and put some music on. Josie had started unpacking and Hope smiled as she walked over to her "You know I have a maid that can do that right?" Josie laughed a little as she put her clothes in a drawer "If your maid did it then I wouldn't know where my things would be would I?" Hope laughed a little as she dropped onto the bed next to the bags "Good point". 

(Time skip)

Josie had finished unpacking hers and Hopes things a few hours ago and they had decided to spend there first day getting used to the house and the lake. Hope of course already knew her way around but Josie didn't. Hope showed her around the lake house, it wasn't as big as the mansion she lived it but it was fairly big. After they looked around the inside of the lake house Hope had offered to show Josie around the woods and lake. Josie of course accepted and they headed for a walk. After about an hour and a half they both returned back to the Lake house. it was about 3.30 pm by now and Hope and Josie were getting dressed up to go to a restaurant, just like she had told Josie. 

The girls were now dressed and Hope couldn't help but look at Josie in awe. "How do you look gorgeous in everything?" Josie laughed a little as a blush creeped up on  her face "I don't look gorgeous in everything. Have you ever seen me with messy hair in a tracksuit set after sparring?" Hope laughed as she offered her arm out to Josie "You'd still look gorgeous". Josie just shook her head as she locked her arm with Hopes and they headed out to her car. Once they reached the car Hope opened the door for Josie offering her hand out to help the girl get in. Josie took it and thanked her as she climbed in it. Hope closed Josie's door before walking around the other side and climbing in next to her "Next stop, The restaurant". 

It was about an hours drive before the girls finally pulled up at the restaurant. Yet again Hope was first out to get Josie's door. The held hands as they approached the valet "Don't scratch my car". Was all Hope said as she dropped the keys in the boys hand.  Once inside They were approached by a waiter "Names please?" Hope smiled as she spoke "Hope Mikaelson and Josette Saltzman". The man nodded as he escorted them to their seats that were outside but under a gazebo. Hope nodded and thanked him as her and Josie took their seats. After a few moments he returned handing them both a menu before bowing lightly and walking off. "It's pretty here". Hope smiled and nodded "Yeah, I came here with my family once". Josie smiled as she reached across the table taking Hopes hand "Its a great place". Hope smiled as she linked their fingers "Thanks Jo. So what do you want?" Josie took her hand back as she looked through the menu "Can I have the burger? with sweet potato fries please?" Hope smiled and nodded "Of course". Hope held her hand out calling a waiter over "Are you ready to order ma'am?" Hope smiled and nodded "Yes please, could I get 2 burgers one with sweet potato fries and one with regular please". The waiter nodded as he wrote it down "Of course and drinks?" Hope looked at Josie "What are you having love?" Hope noticed the pet name she had let slip to Josie but was surprised when Josie smiled widely "Can I just have a fizzy apple juice please?" The man nodded once again before turning to Hope "And you?" Hope smiled lightly "I'll just get a lemonade please". The man nodded as he left and headed inside leaving Hope and Josie at the table alone once more.
