Camping trip preparations pt 2

The wolves had finished gathering the wood and Josie walked over to Lizzie who was just talking to MG "The wolves have finished, have the vamps?" Lizzie smiled and nodded "Yeah, how are Landon, Wade, Maya and Ethan?" Josie looked over to them as they were struggling to put up a tent, they had already put 2 up but this one seemed more difficult for them. Rolling her eyes she laughed as she walked over "Do you need help guys?" Landon looked at Josie with a stupid grin as he nodded "If you want to help". Josie walked closer as she helped and Hope sat watching from across the camp. She watched Josie and Maya pitch the tent without a problem and laughed at How embarrassed the three boys looked.

Hope smiled as Josie began pitching another tent when she noticed Finch approach her. Instantly on guard Hope focused on her girlfriend and listened to there conversation not moving her eyes off of her girl. "Hey, want some help?" Josie looked and smiled widely "Sure, could you Hold the other side for me while I thread the pole?". Finch smiled and nodded as she did what Josie asked "So you and Hope? How long have you been together?" Josie smiled as she answered "About 2 months". Finch nodded "And do you love her?" Hope was eager to hear Josie's answer but it wasn't quite what she was expecting and the answer hurt her "Yeah, I love her. But I don't think she love's me. Not in the same way". Hope frowned and wondered why Josie felt like that only to receive the answer when Finch asked "So why do you think she doesn't love you?". Josie stopped what she was doing for a moment and sighed. "Because she's never said it to me. And we haven't even slept together yet. And I know that I'm just as much to blame as I've never said it to her. But I don't want to scare her away. She's been through a lot. Plus, I was speaking to her friend Penelope while working in Europe, And Penelope said that Hope has never been in Love and that she thinks it's nothing but glorified pain".

Hope felt her heart break, of course she loved Josie, and she did want to sleep with her. She Just never thought that Josie was ready. As for what Penelope said, Hope did in fact say that but since she had met Josie, that opinion had changed. Hope was silent in thought for a moment when she heard a voice behind her "If you think any harder your brain will explode". Hope laughed a little and Looked at MG who came and sat next to her "That obvious huh?" MG nodded as he answered "Yep, so do you want to talk about it?" Hope smiled as she nodded "I'm thinking of the best way to tell Josie that I love her". MG smiled and nodded "Ah the Saltzman twins. They will have you going crazy. I wish I could give you advice on what to say to Josie. But I'm only an expert on Lizzie, but there is one girl here who has told Josie she loves her before, maybe see what she suggests you do". Hope looked at Finch who was smiling and laughing with Josie before she turned back to MG "If she wasn't still in love with my girlfriend. I would ask". MG nodded "Yeah, she would probably suggest you do something that Josie wouldn't like". Hope laughed a little and nodded "Most likely".

MG had gone back to Find Lizzie and Hope walked over to Josie and Finch "Hey, need a hand?" Josie looked at her smiling as she stood up and gave her a kiss "No, I think this one is done. There's 3 tents up, I'm not sure if Lizzie has made a plan for who sleeps where". Hope nodded and Finch spoke "I can go ask for you. That way we will see if we need to put anymore tents up". Josie smiled and nodded as Finch walked past her patting her shoulder as she passed. Once Hope was alone with Josie she pulled Josie into her kissing her "Baby, are we sharing a tent tonight?" Josie smiled as She kissed Hope back "If you want to". Hope smiled and nodded "Of course. but that is if Lizzie hasn't already decided sleeping arrangements". Hope laughed a little bit "We could sneak out". Josie raised her eyebrow grinning "We could". 

Finch returned not long after Josie spoke "Lizzie is sorting sleeping arrangements now, she wants everyone to meet her by the fire pit". Josie and Hope nodded and headed to the fire pit with Finch. Once they were all seated Lizzie began talking "Okay so I know it's a bit pre school, but I thought it would be fun to draw straws and see who stays with who. Everyone nodded and Lizzie smiled "Great I'll go first". Lizzie pulled the straw and smiled reading the name before looking at her boyfriend "I'm with you". MG smiled and nodded "that's fine by me". Next it was Kaleb's turn. Picking a straw he nodded "Raf looks like were sharing". Raf smiled and nodded as well "that's cool". Everyone took turns picking names and soon everyone had the names of who they were sharing with. Raf was sharing with Kaleb, Lizzie was sharing with MG, Wade was sharing with Jedd, Josie was sharing with Finch, Hope was sharing with Landon and Maya was sharing with Ethan. Hope and Josie had both asked if they could swap but Lizzie refused to let them as no one else had complained. 

There were 3 tents left to put up and Josie, Finch and Maya had volunteered to do it. Walking over they began putting them up when Hope approached them "Jo, Can I talk to you a minute". Josie nodded and looked at Hope "Sure love what's up?" Hope smiled lightly as she spoke "I'm really not comfortable with you sharing with your ex". Josie nodded as she Pulled Hope into her and wrapped her arms around her waist "Neither which is why I'm sneaking out and coming to find you". Hope smiled as she kissed Josie "So where are we going to sleep if Finch and Landon are in the tents?" Josie smiled as she pointe to the mini bus "On that, The seats recline". Hope smiled and nodded "Good idea".
