Nothing more than a crush.. Right?

Hope and Josie reached Hopes room and Josie was pleasantly surprised. She had assumed that Hopes room would be plain but it wasn't. Her name was carved into her headboard, There were fairy lights hanging above it. On the walls were Photos of her and what Josie would assume was her family. There were a couple of posters dotted around and a small corner with beanbags and a bookshelf. Josie looked around smiling and Hope sat on her bed watching "Why do you look so surprised?" Josie looked at Hope who was smiling at her "Just didn't expect tour room to be so nice". Hope laughed a little as she spoke back "What did you expect?" Josie just shrugged as she answered "I don't know. Dark, Mysterious. Kind of like you". Hope smiled as she  stood up walking until she was inches from Josie "You think I'm dark and mysterious". Josie swallowed as she looked at Hope "I didn't say that it was a bad thing". For a second Josie could swear she saw Hopes eyes flicker down to her lips before a small smirked played across her face "I didn't take you for the kind of girl to like dark and mysterious things". Hope then pulled away and Walked over to her side grabbing her remote before falling back onto her bed. Josie was still stuck on the spot, Being in such close proximity to Hope did something to her. 

Josie was bought out of her daze when she heard Hope speak again "Coming to sit down?" Josie nodded a little before walking over to Hopes bed and sitting on the edge of it gaining an eyebrow raise from Hope "You can Lay on it you know. It's not going to eat you". Josie looked at Hope and smiled lightly as she removed her shoes and climbed backwards putting her back against the headboard. Hope did the same thing then turned the television on clicking on Netflix "So what do you want to watch?" Josie shrugged as she spoke "I chose our last movie. You chose this one". Hope nodded and scrolled through the films until she got to American Pie. "You ever seen this?" Josie shook her head "Nope, what is it about?" Hope laughed  little as she explained "A bunch of horny, awkward teenage boys who get caught doing embarrassing shit all the time". Josie nodded and laughed "Oh so a documentary then". Hope laughed along with Josie "It might as well be". Hope clicked it and they laid watching it laughing and making Jokes about it. Hope couldn't remember the last time she had ever felt this happy and content  even with  her best friend Penelope. 

The film finally finished and Josie laughed as she looked at Hope "Well that was and Interesting film". Hope laughed back "Yeah, the literal do's and don't of trying to hook up with women, which actually reminds me. We have never spoke about our relationships". Josie giggled a little as she answered "Well you won't get much out of me on that, as I don't have one". Hope was sure it was because of her crush on Josie, But hearing her say she had no relationship made Hope happy. Hope smiled as she answered Josie "Well neither do I so that's that conversation done. But it wouldn't be a girls night if we didn't talk about crushes". Hope noticed Josie look worried for a second before the look disappeared almost like it was never there to begin with. Hope chose not to bring it up as she spoke "So, Do you have a crush on anyone?" Hope watched as Josie shrugged "Kind of. But my father would never allow it". Hope frowned as Josie now looked sad "Why's that?" Josie sighed as she answered "Well, My father doesn't like the idea of me being with another girl. He want's me to get a husband. So all my crushes have pretty much been for nothing".

Hope frowned hearing about How Josie's dad didn't accept her. Leaning over without even thinking Hope pulled Josie into a hug "I'm sorry to hear that. But who cares what he thinks. You should be with Whoever makes you happy". Hope saw Josie's face fall into a soft smile as she pulled away. "So, Have you got a crush?" Hope swallowed nervously as she answered "Yes, I do". Hope could swear for a moment she saw sadness cover Josie's face, But Just like before it was gone in an instant and was replaced with that award winning smile that Hope was sure was a mask hiding the girls true emotions "So who is it?" Hope shook her head as she answered "I can't say yet". Josie pouted as looked at Hope and Hope could feel herself crumbling. Quickly standing up Hope walked over to her blue tooth speaker in her room turning it on and grabbing her phone out "Do you like music?" Josie smiled as she answered "I love music". Hope smiled as she clicked one of her playlists putting it on. 

Almost Immediately the sounds of Frank Sinatra's Fly me to the moon began playing through her speakers. Hope turned around and saw Josie smiling at her "What?" Josie just giggled as she spoke "Again not what I was expecting from you". Hope laughed as she offered her hand out to Josie "Dance with me". Josie smiled as she climbed across Hope's bed and took her hand. In one swift move Hope pulled Josie into her arms and they began dancing. Hope pulled Josie close to her by her hips before grabbing her hand and spinning her around. Josie laughed as she spun back into Hope putting her arms around the auburn girls waist. Hope smiled as her and Josie danced and at one point Josie began singing along. Hope was in awe at this girl and listened as she sung.

Out of nowhere Hope heard a voice in her head telling her that them words were how she felt about the girl. Hope was taken aback by her sudden thought, However she just ignored it. She was to happy right now to worry about small stuff. Finally the song came to an end and Hope and Josie fell backwards onto her bed. Hope just laid there admiring the girl before a knock broke her out of her trance. Sitting up she called out and a maid entered "Sorry to intrude Miss Mikaelson. But your aunt said dinner is ready". Hope nodded and thanked the maid before offering her had out to Josie "Lets go eat". Josie smiled at Hope and took her hand and they both headed to the dining room.
