Hosie: I'm Different

She's been acting different

Josie had been back for at least a week now and Hope had noticed that her behaviour had been different. She hadn't been sleeping well, she had stopped pouring Her blood out, She didn't kiss her for long periods of time anymore, She seemed off of her food. Hope was feeling genuinely concerned. Josie was acting like a completely different person. Hope was currently sitting in Josie's bedroom when Josie's sister entered. Hope looked at her and smiled lightly "She's in the shower". Lizzie nodded and went to walk away when Hope spoke again "Hey Lizzie, Has Josie been acting weird to you?" Lizzie stopped for a moment before closing the door and walking over to the bed sitting down "Yeah. she has. Since she's been back she's been different. I can feel it. her magic is unstable and somehow constant. Something's changed". Hope frowned and spoke, "I've noticed that she's been acting different to. I just thought it was with me". Lizzie nodded and crossed her legs giving Hope her full attention "Would you like to talk about it?" Hope smiled lightly and nodded as she began talking about all the ways Josie had been different.

(Flashback one)

Hope woke up and climbed out of bed  heading down to the kitchen. Walking in she saw Josie cooking breakfast. "Awh you making me breakfast again?" Josie smiled and turned around after plating it and handing it to her "Yep. Here Hope you enjoy it". Hope smiled and nodded "Thank you Jo". Josie smiled and nodded back no problem". Half way through breakfast Hope noticed that Josie had not poured her blood like usual nor did she have any food "Hey Jo, I'm surprised you didn't pour my blood this morning. And are you not eating?". Hope noticed Josie go rigid at the mention of blood but she chose not to push further as Josie answered her "I'm not hungry".

Hope woke up at 2 am and saw Josie watching TV she seemed wide awake and it surprised Hope considering that Josie hadn't slept yet. Hope frowned as she spoke "Hey Jo, It's Like 2 Am. Are you not tired yet?". Josie Looked down at her smiling "Not really". Hope raised het eyebrow and nodded "Oh right well I'm going back to sleep good night baby". Josie leaned down and pecked her on the lips before turning back to the TV "Night love".

Hope and Josie were dancing in her room When Hope leaned in and kissed Josie. They stood kissing for a moment until Josie pulled away. Hope frowned as she spoke "Are you okay?" Josie just Nodded before pulling Hope closer to her. Since being back Josie had seemed to be avoiding kissing her. Hope felt saddened by it as she thought that Josie may have changed her mind about being with her. Hope had wanted to talk to her about it but every time she brought it up Josie would change the subject".

Lizzie listened and nodded "That is weird. Josie loves eating, Do you know how many pancakes she can eat?" Hope laughed a little and nodded "Yeah believe me, I know". Lizzie laughed a little then turned serious "So now you've told me how she's been weird with you, can I tell you how she's been weird with me?" Hope nodded "Of course". Lizzie smiled as she began talking

(Flashback one)

Lizzie walked into the training room and saw Josie hitting the punching bag. Smiling she walked over to her "Hey sis, angry about something?" Josie looked at Lizzie and smiled a little "No". Lizzie just nodded "Wanna spar?" Josie shook her head "No, Train with Jedd" Lizzie frowned but nodded and called Jedd over. They walked over to the mats and Lizzie was the first to attack but Jedd dodged it flawlessly before hitting her back knocking her to the floor almost instantly "Shit Sorry Lizzie". Lizzie stood up and fell almost immediately "I think I've hurt my ankle". Josie watched and would usually help Lizzie if she was hurt by using a pain relief spell but Josie knew that if her sister touched her she would know what she was. So instead she stood up and left the training room.

(Flashback two)

It was 1.30 am and Lizzie woke up needing a drink. Sitting up she headed to the kitchen. Walking in Lizzie saw Josie sitting on the counter "Hey Jo. What you doing up?" Josie quickly wiped the blood from around her mouth before looking at Lizzie "Noting, just wanted a snack". Lizzie nodded  and smiled lightly "What did you have?" Josie cleared her throat looking around "Just a sandwich". Lizzie raised her eyebrow almost disbelievingly as she poured her drink "Well okay, I'm going back to bed. Shouldn't you?" Josie just nodded as she jumped off the counter and walked past her sister "Yeah, see you tomorrow lizzie".

Hope nodded her head "We need to find out what's going on with her. Maybe there's something bothering her". Lizzie nodded "Yeah, I agree". Lizzie just finished her sentence when Josie walked in "Hey Sis". Lizzie stood up and walked over to Josie who took a step back out of arms reach of Lizzie "Hey Liz what's up?" Lizzie frowned as she answered "I just wanted to know if you and Hope were still coming to MG's party tomorrow?" Josie nodded "Yeah, of course". Lizzie smiled and nodded "Great ,I' going to talk to Dad about the finishing touches and I'll come give you all the details later". Josie nodded and Lizzie smiled lightly before walking out the room. Once they were by themselves Hope looked at Josie "Hey Jo, can we talk?" Josie nodded and walked over to the bed sitting down "What's up love?" Hope smiled lightly as she took Josie's hand "Is everything okay?" Josie raised her eyebrow at Hope "Yeah, why are you asking?" Hope frowned as she spoke again "It's just since you have been back, you have ben acting different. Even Lizzie has picked up on it". Josie smiled and leaned in kissing Hope "I'm fine darling". Hope sighed but nodded "Are you sure?" Josie nodded once again "Yes love, now do you want to watch a film?" Hope smiled and nodded "Sure thing".
