Josie woke up and sat up looking around confused. She tried to move but soon realized she was tied to a chair. Looking around she saw she was in a house that was unfamiliar to her. Josie tried to wriggle out of the ropes but every time she moved they felt like they got tighter. Josie looked around for a way out when she heard a voice behind her "Josette Saltzman". Josie recognised the voice instantly "Kai". Josie heard laughter and then the figure appear in front of her "Hello niece". Josie began fidgeting and Kai laughed at her attempt to escape "Awh, don't bother trying to escape little Saltzman, I don't want to hurt you". Josie just laughed a little it "Are you sure about that? because you killed my mother, then tried to kill me and Lizzie before we were born". Kai frowned a little as he spoke "I was trying to save you both. I knew that you will both have to kill each other because of our family's crazy tradition. I was trying to save you from that". Josie just shook her head "The fact that you think you were trying to save us is delusional. What do you want from me Kai?" Kai laughed a little as he crouched in front of Josie "I want you to become a monster like me". Josie shook her head "It's a little late for that, I'm already a heretic". Kai smiled as he stood up and began circling her "Your right, Thanks to my girlfriend you are in fact a Heretic. She did well didn't she. I was proud when she told me she succeeded". 

Josie frowned as she watched Jade walk in and kiss Kai "You made her do this?" Kai turned and faced her "No Little Saltzman, you misunderstand. I didn't make her do anything. I just asked nicely". Josie began fidgeting again and Kai continued talking "Now your a heretic Josie do you not realise how superior you are? You have your own magic. You can't die. I did you a favour. Now all I'm asking in return is for a favour back". Kai kneeled in front of Josie and used his thumb and finger to lift her head so she was facing him "All I want from you Josie, Is to be like me. I want you to turn your humanity off". Josie looked at Kai shocked before shaking her head "No". Kai frowned as he stood up "Okay fine, I didn't want to have to do this". Josie looked at Jade who was now standing next to Kai with a sword and a jug filled with water. "What are you going to do?" Kai smirked as he took the sword from Jade and dipped it in the water "If you won't turn your humanity off. I will force you to". Josie went to walk when Kai held the side of the blade against Josie's face. Josie cried out in pain as it burn into her skin "Oh did I forget to tell you It was dipped in Vervain water?". Kai pulled it away from Josie as he spoke once more "Turn your humanity off". Josie looked up at him again "No". Kai dipped the sword in the water before this time plunging it into Josie's stomach. Josie screamed as Kai twisted it then pulled it back out. 

Josie had been being tortured for Hours now, but she was still refusing to turn her humanity off. Each time she said no Kai would stab her or force Vervain water down her throat. Josie must have passed out because of the pain because the next thing she remembered was waking up to Kai talking "Yoo hoo, wake up sleepy head". Josie blinked the blurriness in her vision away and saw Kai standing in front of her. With Jade "My dearest Jade here has informed me that yoy have a little girlfriend". Josie didn't speak but knew Kai already knew "Awh, you don't want to talk to me? Oh well. Anyway, Jade said that you might be holding onto your humanity for her, ,But we can't be having that can we. So I have come to a decision". Josie frowned as Kai put his hands on the side of her face "What are you doing?" Kai laughed a little bit as he spoke "Just a little spell". And with that Kai began chanting. After a few minutes Josie passed out and Kai smiled looking at her "Don't worry niece. When you wake up, You won't remember your girlfriend". Kai looked at Jade grinning as he spoke "Can you go and get me the fire poker please?" Jade nodded and left the room soon returning with the fire poker. Taking it he walked over to the fire place "Incendia". The fire place lit up and Kai held the poker in it. 

Josie finally came around and looked at Jade "Why are you helping him?" Jade frowned as she spoke "I'm doing it for you. He said he can help me get you back". Josie frowned and Spoke "You think torture will make me love you?" Jade shook her head "Id rather you love me than anyone else". Josie sighed as she spoke "I've only ever loved Finch Jade, but me and her broke up". Jade raised her eyebrow before speaking "What about Hope Mikaelson?" Josie looked at Jade confused "What's Hope Mikaelson got to do with anything?" Jade looked at Kai who was making Jazz hands behind Josie "What did you do?" Kai smiled as he whispered to Jade "I put a mind block in place. She knows who Hope is, She knows what Hope did to her family. But she doesn't know she's spent the last 2 months in love with her. Every kiss, every trip, every date. All blocked". Jade looked at Josie who was slouching in the chair from hours of torture and felt a pang of pain in her chest at the sight. Nodding she looked back at Kai who was now kneeling in front of Josie "Are you ready to turn your humanity off yet?" Josie just shook her head and Kai frowned "Oh well How about now?" Kai used magic to float the Hot poker to him before ramming it in Josie's shoulder Josie screamed as Kai spoke "You can make it stop Josie". Kai then pulled it out before shoving it in her her stomach "Just Turn. IT. Off". Kai twisted it and Josie cried out before finally he pulled it out. Josie's head dropped and He dug it in her once more.
