{Avery's POV}
As Jazzy and I are dragging Lisa's mattress into our bedroom I hear Lisa scream for us. Jazzy and I quickly run to her.
"You might want to read this." Lisa says. She hands a note to Jazzy and she hands it to me.
It reads:
Hello girls. By the time your reading this, we are probably gone. Well we (your parents) have realized that the whole reason why we are homeless are because of your worthless children. You brought us down. You only gave us more ugly mouths to feed and more stupid people to worry about. So we had a great idea! We have also noticed that you have been saving money in your piggy banks hidden under your bed. In total of your dumbs selfs money is $714.51. That's enough for us to go somewhere far aways from you nasty ugly selves. That's our brilliant idea! So we took all of your money and sold some of your things while you were at Kiki's sleepover. Well to be honest we never really liked you and yeah. See you never!
Love,
Your beautiful parents byeeeee worthless children!
I was so upset and confused and mad that I just threw the note on the floor and stormed out with tears in my eyes. I just ran out the shelter with only my purse with my phone, lipstick, and sunglasses. I started running and running. I wanted to leave this place forever. I never wanted to have these kind of parents. I never wanted to live in a shelter. I never wanted to be teased at school. I never wanted any of this. All I wanted to do was leave forever. So I kept running and running. Not looking back and letting the tears stream down my face. I just wanted to die. As soon as that thought came into my head I fell to the ground. What was I thinking?I got up from the middle of the road and went to the sidewalk. I started to run again until I reached an abandoned area. I sat down and cried.
