Chapter 18: Heart Lovers

{Kiki's POV}
Avery and I eat breakfast and it's 7:30.
"We have to leave now to catch the bus!!" I scream. Avery rushes and puts out dishes in the dishwasher. Then we grab our bags and head out. But by the time we get there the bus is gone.
"What are we gonna do!?!" Avery screams in frustration.
"Umm...umm." I say.
"Can we drive to school?" Avery asks.
"We don't have a car!" I say.
"We can try to wa-." I suggest but Avery cuts me off.
"No no no. There is absolutely no way I am walking to school in these!" Avery says and shows me her flip flops.
"Okay first of all there is no way you can wear those to school. The principal will catch you and you're gonna get in trouble." I say.
"You're right." Avery says.
Then we walk back home. It's only a 2 minute walk from our house to the bus stop. Once we get home Avery changes into my pink all-stars, we're the same shoe size too, and we head out again.
"No,we're not walking to school." Avery says.
"Well it's 7:45 and school starts at 8 so do you have a better plan?" I say.
"No." Avery says and we begin to walk to school.
"Wait, lemme call Shawn!" Avery says.
"Yea, wait doesn't he take the bus?" I say.
"Idk let's find out." Avery says.
{Avery's POV}
I quickly take out my phone and go to Shawn's contact. He picks up on the second ring:
Shawn- Hi Avery.
Me- Hay Shawn wats up.
Shawn- Nothing really just going to school, and I can't wait to see you.
Me- Me too but I need a favor.
Shawn- Sure what is it?
Me- Well KIKI and I kinda missed the bus. And I was hoping that you could pretty please pick us up and take us to school.
Shawn- Oh sure. Be there in 5.
Then we hung up. I quickly told Kiki what happened and Shawn showed up in 5 minutes. When he pulled up the car it wasn't him driving. It was Nash Grier. Shawn was in the passengers seat. Nash and Shawn lived right next to each other and are best friends like me and Kiki.
I gave Kiki a smirk and she was blushing like crazy. Because of Nash.
"Hey Avery and Kiki, hop in!" Nash said.
"Hay Nash." I said.
"Hay Shawn." I said and gave Shawn a kiss on the cheek. Then he blushed.
"I saw that!" I said and sat in the back seat with Kiki. Then Nash started driving.
"You need to ask him out." I whispered to Kiki.
"Are you crazy? He'll say no!" Kiki whispered back.
"Don't worry, I got you." I said and pulled out my phone. I went to Shawn's contact on iMessage and texted him.
Me-I'm very sorry, but I need another favor. Oh and put your phone on mute so no one hears us txt ing back and forth.
Then Shawn's phone went off.
Shawn- Don't worry about it. You're my GIRLFRIEND! You can come to me for anything. And I just put my phone on mute. So watchya need?
Me-Awhh your so sweet.
Shawn- I know. 😏
Me- Your silly and that's what I really like about you 😜😘. Well can u keep a secret?
Shawn- Thank u 😘 and YA I can definitely keep secrets!
Me- Lol. So Kiki likes Nash. And I need you to find out if Nash likes Kiki.
Shawn- This is so funny😂.
Me- What's funny?
Shawn- Nash likes Kiki too!
Me- Really! It's TRUE love!
Shawn-It is, so u wanna set them too up?😋😛

Shawn-Kk we'll talk more later

After I send the last message I put my phone back inside my pocket.
"Do you trust me?" I said to Kiki.
"More than anyone." Kiki says. I nod. Then I get an idea.
"Hay Nash!" I say. Kiki smacks me and asks what am I doing.
"Ya." Nash says.
"How would you like to go on a date with Kiki?" I say and smile at Kiki.
They both start blushing like crazy.
