Chapter 24: Fun Day!

{Kiki's POV}
"NO THEY ARE GONNA KEEP ME IN THAT PLACE FOREVER! IM NOT GOING BACK NEVER AND YOU CANT MAKE ME. I FINALLY HAVE A HOME AND YOU'RE JUST GONNA KICK ME OUT!" Avery screams.
I get really scared because I barely see this side of her and it's really scary.
Then Avery runs to our bedroom and slams the door.
"Oh gosh." Dad says.
"I wasn't finish. I was also gonna say that we were gonna take her back to fix everything and see who disapproved the forms." Dad also says.
"Wait. So you were never gonna take her back permanently?" Jazzy says.
"No. They just wanted her there to clear everything up. She is one of my baby girls. I would never let them take her. I love her too much. And I love you girls to." Dad says.
"We love you too." I say and Jazzy and I give dad a hug.
"Girls. I also wanted to tell you that I am going to be working extra to make enough money for us to sustain on. So I have to leave now. So I will see you girls later. But can one of you go cheer up Avery and tell her what I said. I would love to talk to her but it's 10:30 now and I can't be late." Dad says.
"Kk. Bye dad." Jazzy says.
"Bye girls." Dad says.
Once dad leaves the house there is a silence between me and Jazzy. It's as if we are both thinking and don't remember that were there. Then I begin to think. But I am snapped out of it when Jazzy begins to talk.
"I'm gonna go talk to her." Jazzy says. Then I get up.
"No. You've been there for her a lot of times in her life. Now it's my turn." I say and walk upstairs. I can hear soft cries when I'm finally up stairs.
I knock softly on the door.
"Avery." I say calmly.
"I'm never coming out." She says.
"Please open up." I say.
No answer.
"It's Kiki." I say. Then I hear the door unlock and open up. I walk in and lock the door behind me. Now Avery and I are standing face to face. I hold out my arms and pull her into a hug. She cries on my shoulder but I don't mind. I get up for a quick second to grab a tissue. Then I hand it to her.
"When you're ready to talk. Let me know." I say.
"Thanks Kiki." She says and I smile at her.
"You know when you walked out Dad
still had more to say." I say.
"Like what?" She asks.
"They only wanted to take you back to clear everything up. Not to keep you there permanently." I say and let out a little chuckle.
Then she lightly punches my arm.
"Even if they are just gonna clear everything up, I'm still scared. Who was the person who disapproved the papers? What if they say that I am not fit to live with you guys? What if my parents come back and take me? What if-." Avery says but I cut her off.
"Look nothing is gonna happen. I am gonna be right there with you. All they are gonna do is redo the adoption form and find out who disapproved it. Because yesterday when you were sleeping, Dad called the adoption center and asked who disapproved the papers. The Boss lady, Mrs. Penn, said she did not. And the only way you can disapprove the papers digitally, which the person did, you need a passcode. Which means someone must have hacked their way into it. And don't worry. Once Mrs. Penn approved the papers, we are finally sisters. " I say
"Okay. Thanks. I won't be worried now. Anyways. What time are we going." Avery asks.
"Tomorrow at 6. Now we have a whole day off! Let's do something!" I scream.
Avery smiles at me which I can tell she feels a lot better.
"Wait. Remember what your dad said about no boyfriends!" Avery says loudly.
"Oh YA. Well......about that. Can we talk about it later. We're going to the mall!" I scream.
"Aren't you forgetting about mom!" Avery says.
"Oh YA. I called her. She said she's doing fine and she couldn't remember things because Nurse Callie spoke to me and said that she had a light concussion which led to some slight memory loss but she is ok now. And I'm not sad anymore because Callie said she is doing great!" I say.
"That's great!" Avery says.
"Ya. We are visiting her later. Can we go to the mall now. Please!" I scream.
"It's 11 am! The Laurel Mall doesn't open till 12:45!" Avery says.
{Avery's POV}
After Kiki tells me what's going on I feel better and then we start talking for a little bit.
Kiki wants to go the mall right now.
"It's 11 am! The Laurel Mall doesn't open till 12:45!" I say.
"Ugh fine! We can go at 1." Kiki says and goes on her bed.
I smile and grab my Mac and sit on my bed. I watch Netflix until it's time to go.
*Netflix Watching*
"Come on! Time to go to the mall!" Kiki says excitedly. "Let me change real quick." She also says.
She changes into a black cami, with a light blue and white striped cardigan, jean capri's, baby blue toms, with her brown dangled purse. She puts her hair in a messy bun. Total bad GURL!
"Cute!" I say.
"Lol. Thanks. Come here so I can do your hair!" Kiki says. Omg. I get up and put my Mac back on my desk. Then I go into the bathroom with Kiki and let her style my hair.
She tries a couple styles, the. Finally chooses one. She puts my hair into a down side pony tail with a pink rubber band to match my out fit.
"Let's go to the mall!" I say. Kiki nods and smiles. I grab my phone, wallet, and pink purse. I shove all my things inside and head downstairs with Kiki.
"Pass me that sticky note over there and the pen please." Kiki says. I pass her the sticky note and pen.
When she's done writing she puts it on the fridge. Then I read what it says:
"Hey Dad, Avery and I (Kiki) are going to the mall and then to a movie and out with our friends later. See ya later love YA! :D."
After that Kiki and I walk 15 minutes to the Laurel Mall. Since Kiki and I were laughing and talking it wasn't that long of a walk.
Once we're in the Mall Kiki says: "Forever 21! Let's go!" Kiki says and pulls me into the store. Well, Kiki and I are gonna have a girls day, so I'm gonna try my best not to worry about tomorrow!
