Lizzies P.O.V

Making my way inside I immediately ran up the stairs to my bathroom. I need to shower and figure out what I was going to wear. I might be a little bit excited about this dinner with Madi. I wanted to look good for her.

I couldn't help but recap our conversation and it seemed like she was flirting back with me. I'm positive that she was. So I took the small risk and kissed her cheek when I left. I didn't see her reaction but I'm hoping it was good.

I spent the next 45 minutes showering and shaving my legs, making sure everything was taken care of. When I got out I towel dried my hair a bit before grabbing my blow dryer. Once my hair was dry, I threw on a silk robe to lounge in while I walked into my closet to pick something out.

A short while later I had finally decided on an outfit that I was sure would make Madi drool. I still had a couple hours before I had to get ready so I settled for reading a book to pass the time. I'd always loved reading growing up. It was always kind of a safe haven for me.

Sitting on my couch, I open my book to begin reading but was interrupted by Madi bursting through my back door in short shorts and a sports bra.

"Hey sorry to barge in but I completely forgot to ask if you had any kind of diet restrictions that I need to worry about. I would've texted but I don't have your number yet so... here I am." She said all in one breath before taking a moment to look at me

She blushed seeing me in nothing but a silk robe. I decided to use this to my advantage a bit and stood up walking to grab a pen from the desk.

"No diet restrictions to worry about Madi. Thank you for asking though, it's very thoughtful of you. As for my number..." I trailed off

I wrote my number down on a slip of paper before walking over to Madi, standing very close to her to where I could just barely feel her breath on me. I tucked the slip of paper into the waistband of her shorts, letting my fingers graze her bare stomach before pulling away.

"Don't lose it, I might not give it to you so easily next time. Now scoot, I'm pretty sure that chef needs to get busy with dinner." I said with a smirk

Her face got even redder as her breathing became slightly labored. She nodded her head saying a quick goodbye before darting out of my house and back to hers. I laughed to myself, shaking my head as I walked back over and picked my book up to read again.

A while later I realized it was time to start getting ready so I walked upstairs to my room to do my makeup and get dressed. It wasn't anything crazy elaborate but I knew it was enough to make someone swoon. Hopefully Madi.

As I finished I looked at the clock and it read 7:55. I quickly put my heels on and walked downstairs. I walked out the front of my house and over to Madi's. Standing on her front porch I raised my hand and knocked.

It was only a few short seconds later when the door opened and my breath was knocked out of me at the sight of Madi.

"Wow..." I breathed out, " you look amazing."

Everything about her was perfect. Her clothes. The way she did her hair. Her make up. That goofy smile on her face. There absolutely nothing wrong with the vision in front of me.
