"Woah," Jeongin was speechless. He took off the headphone and turned to Chan. "That was you?"

Chan giggled and nodded before turning to his laptop.

The younger guy placed a hand over his mouth. He was still shocked with Chan's voice, the music and the lyrics. He haven't experienced what the song had gone through but somehow that touched his heart. "Hyung it was so good! I nearly cried." he said, receiving a laugh. He knew Chan was talented in academics and sports but he never know about this.

Felix had excused himself earlier when getting a phone call from a family. He left in about an hour ago, leaving Chan and Jeongin alone. Fortunately things didn't go awkward as what Jeongin thought. They got along well.

"I just finished touching up yesterday actually. You're the first one who listen to it."

"Wow I feel honoured." Jeongin blushed.

"It feels good to hear a feedback from you though, I thought it was not good." he exclaimed while typing in the tittle of the song.

"No, this is a masterpiece." he muttered as his voice lowered down while thinking. The lyrics were sad, as if it was written deep down from his scarred heart. The voice sounded vulnerable and broken at some part which made questions running in his mind of what happened to the older. He could just guess it was normal for a singer to sing with full emotions. But Chan was a student, he barely trained with a vocal coach but he knew how and where to express his feelings through the song.

He felt like he had gone through some hard times with someone but he didn't want to jump into conclusion. Also they just know each other today so it would be better if he keep quiet and enjoy.

Indeed, the whole day he spent it with Chan. He couldn't be more happier.

Felix on the other hand was panicking. He threw all his shirts, jeans and other needs while glancing at the clock constantly. The luggage was almost full. He did not have time to arrange it properly.

"Lix?" Hyunjin knocked on his door. Seungmin appeared behind him. "What's going on?"

"I need to return to Australia tonight, for two weeks." he said, panting. "My cousin's sick. His cancer is already on stage four and only has a few weeks but it worsen since this morning." he was short of breath. Tears gathered on his eyes.

Seungmin got in and put the chicken tenders he bought on his study table. "Eat first, Lix. I'll help you packing." he offered and Hyunjin agreed.

Felix halted. He dropped his chargers in the luggage and sat properly. It was quiet for awhile before he suddenly broke down, hugging his legs. Hyunjin rushed to his side and engulfed him in a hug. The sobs filled the room.

Seungmin wasted no time and did a quick packing. He folded all his shirt and pants properly before stuffing them in the luggage. "I am horrible."

"You're not." Hyunjin argued.

"I fought with him and never contacted him again when I got into college. I'm a horrible person, Hyunjin. I don't deserve to be his family."

"Arguments are normal. Stop saying that." Hyunjin felt his heart clenched. Felix had never cried. If he's sad he would just keep quiet or gives a sad smile. The Felix he knows is bright. Even they rarely meet each other in campus they'd sometimes randomly have lunch if they bumped onto each other.
