part 15

We sit at the dining table and drink tea. Anna tells Marta and me about how cute Dylan is to her and their baby. It's going to be a boy.

Anna: I think Dyl is even more excited than I am!

I look down.

Marta: What is it?

Y/n: What if I'll be scared forever?

Marta: You won't! I know you y/n! And even if, it's okay! You've been through something really bad! It's okay to be scared!

Y/n: I'll try it!

Marta: What?

Y/n: I'll try to hug him!

The door opens and we see Tom.

Tom: Darling? I'm home-

I come to him.

Tom: Only a step apart?

I take deep breath and hug him. I feel him smiling and he hugs me back. It feels so good. The smell of his perfume makes me feel happy and safe. It feels so good to hug him. I slowly take back my arms and see Tom's facilitated look.

Y/n: What?

Tom: You hugged me!

Y/n: I know!

Tom: I'm so unbelievable proud of you!

A few hours later I lay in bed. I stare at the ceiling. Tom sleeps on the couch but I can't sleep. I stand up and go into the living room. Tom lays on the couch covered in blankets and wearing a hoodie. I'm only wearing a big shirt of Tom and my underpants. It's pretty cold in here.

Y/n: Tom?

He turns and mumbles something. I get closer and sit down next to him.

Y/n: Tom?

He sits up.

Tom: What?

Y/n: Isn't it a bit cold in here?

Tom: Kinda.

Y/n: Our blanket may help!

Tom: What?

Y/n: I think I'm ready!

A few minutes later we lay in bed. I lay there staring at the ceiling. I hear Tom breathing. Sometimes he mumbles something but then it's quiet. I close my eyes. I reach out my hand and feel Tom's hand. I grab it and squeeze it a bit. My breath slows down and I fall asleep next to Tom.

Tom's POV

I wake up and look around. Y/n's Hand is wrapped around mine. I smile. I stand up quietly and go into the bathroom. I take a quick shower and make breakfast.

Y/n's POV

I open my eyes. Tom is gone. I stand up and go outside. I smell something. It smells good. I go to the dining table. It's set and Tom sits at it. The food on it looks delicious and two candles burn and light up the table even more. The flames get reflected in his eyes.

Tom: I told you, I'd help you! And those things yesterday were a huge progress! This is your reward!

I sit down.

Y/n: Thanks Tommy!

We start eating. Suddenly he smiles at me.

Y/n: What?

Tom: You have coffee on your lips!

I smile and stand up.

Y/n: Really?

I take a deep breath. I really wanna do this! I can do this! Y/n, you can do this! I come closer and kiss him.

Y/n *whispers*: Thank you Tommy!
