BONUS scene 1 - Phone call

(A/n:- i decided to do few bonus scenes as one shots to add to this book.)

Y/n was at home now since Tsukishima was currently at summer camp.

'Let's go eat somewhere after I come back. Love you xx'

His last text read.

'I can't wait! I love you too, babe cx'

She replied.

Tsukishima was laying beside Yamaguchi and Nishinoya, who were currently asleep, while he just laid there with a phone in his hand, texting Y/n.

'Don't call me babe. It's weird.'

He replied.

Y/n rolled her eyes and texted him back. 'okay, boomer.'

'You can't call me that either.'

Tsukishima texted back and frowned.

Y/n read the text and was kinda annoyed, sighing a d tossing her phone beside her on the bed.

"You're as salty as ever, Kei.." she mumbled to herself while covering her eyes with her forearms. "But that's why i love you." She smiled.

She heard her phone buzz and grabbed it to check, looking at another of her boyfriend's text.

'Hey, you there? I'm sorry. Didn't mean to be rude.'

His last text read.

Y/n was typing in her reply but before she could complete the text, she got a call from him.

"hello..?" She quickly answered.

She could hear his soft breathing on the other side of the line but no response yet. Before she could say something, she heard the door open and close before he finally spoke up.

"I'm sorry." He sighed. "The training camp is sucking the energy and life out of me.. I didn't mean to be rude."

"It's okay, Why don't you rest if you're tired? I know Kuroo and Bokuto are making you do blocks for them after match practice.."

"Why? Well, I want to talk to you, why else?" He shrugged. "Nothing else matter as long as i get to hear your voice."

She blushed and stayed quietly, while he smirked.

"Arara, are you blushing? Too bad I'm not there to see it."

"B-baka! Kei Baka!!" She chuckled while her flustered expression subsided.

Tsukishima smiled as well, feing a sense of happiness after hearing her happy voice.

"I can't wait to be back tomorrow." He sighed.

"That's why you need to sleep so you can wake up early. Gather up your energy since you'll need that when you come back home."

"Why? What are we going to do, hm? I thought we agreed about that after we get married." He teased.

Y/n realized what he was saying and blushed hard.

"I meant for the date!!"

She could hear Tsukishima's laughter and smiled right after hearing it.

"Good to hear that after 2 weeks." She sighed with a smile.

"Mm, you're right. I need to sleep soon, and you need to too." He wiped a tear.

"I will. Good night then, Kei.."

She said but didn't get a reply.

"Kei..?"

"Why'd you call me by my name? Are you still mad?" He asks while scratching the back of his head.

"Huh? But you don't like it when i call you names..." She raised her eyebrow.

"You can call me anything but babe. That sounds weird." He mumbles.

She nods and smiled. "Well then, good night then, love."

Hearing that made him smile.

"Good night, my love. I'll be home tomorrow." He smiled before hanging up.
