twenty - three

MONDAY, 9:15 pm

Koutarou was beyond exhausted. Today was a very long day alongside him not really feeling today. He was so tired that all he could do was sit on the bench under one of the campus lights. He had to go catch the bus to get home but his legs was so out of it.

"Fuck."

He hasn't felt this tired in such a long time. Koutarou slightly whined wanting to go home, but all he could do was lean forward against his knees trying to find the will to get up and go home. He sighed, frustrated pulling out his phone from his pocket trying to ignore how quiet it was around him.

He had think about who could drive or anyone that could get him or so. It sucked that he didn't have a car yet, because he had his license but he didn't have the money for a car.

So, that sucked.

Anyway, he could text his friends but it was late and he didn't want to bother him. So he decided to call Lev. The phone had rung three times before the call picked up.

LEV: hello? bo-san?

BOKUTO: um. lev are you currently busy right now?

LEV: no I'm not just having a movie time with the guys, before we all go to bed. did you need something?

BOKUTO: I was wondering..if you could come pick me up from campus and take me to my apartment because I'm not going to make it to the bus. I'm too tired and I feel I will sleep on the bus and will not wake up

LEV: shit. bo-san! I'm coming just stay put. [ in the background: aye Kenma give me your car keys now ] I'll be on the way. do you want to stay on the phone? [ Hinata: is Bokuto-san okay? ]

BOKUTO: No I don't want to distract you. just call me when you arrive okay?

LEV: okay! See you in like ten minutes [ hangs up and basically runs for his life to Kenma's car ]

Koutarou sighed as he sat back on the bench. He decided to look through other messages. And, he saw one from Keiji. He start to see his phone spazz with messages from Shoyo and Kenma. He didn't see any from Tetsurou. Lastly, he saw some from his friends.

akaashi: you finally messaged me 🥺 sorry for the late reply I been so busy at work today, idk if your busy or anything ( maybe school ) but I really hope you have a good day today 💓

bokuto: hey sorry for the late reply. today really was packed with all my classes. I hope you had a good day

akaashi: bokuto-san! hey! what ya up too?

bokuto: waiting on a friend of mine to come pick me up from campus since I know I won't make it to the bus

akaashi: okay get home safely. how was school?

bokuto: beyond stressful

akaashi: do you want to ft and talk about it ?

bokuto: sure you can keep me company here in the darkness as I wait for my friend

akaashi: sure
