sorry if you find mistakes.

4:45 pm

The sound of music playing in the background. The melody trapping itself within the car, as Tooru sung the song currently filling their ears off-key. Along with him fumbling with the English lyrics. Shan decided to use her free hand to turn down the music before glancing over at Tooru who was singing, then looked back at the road.

"Oi, Oikawa?"

Tooru stopped singing after hearing his name. "yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

"uh? yeah."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, very positive. why?"

"You just look as if something is wrong, kinda noticed it when I first saw you come into Matsukawa's place. but you know maybe I'm just looking too deep into it."

"Oh. yeah nothing is wrong, trust me."

"Okay." She continued driving, deciding not to speak anymore about it. But, now Tooru was in his own thoughts thinking about this morning of how he wanted to call both Hajime and Koushi.

"Actually." Tooru started, looking down at his hands that sat in his lap. Shan glanced over at him then quickly back at the street furrowing her brows.

"Actually what?" Was she missing something? Did he say something under his breath for her not to hear?

"Oh, sorry. wait first I have to ask because I don't remember if Geni told me or anything or you mentioning it? Aren't you a foreigner or a native?" Tooru asked.

"Oh, I'm a Foreigner, why do you ask?"

"I was asking because I was just thinking about how different things would be in your country than mine due to what I'm about to ask."

"And that question would be?"

"Have you ever had a crush or fell in love with two people at the same time?"

Shan made a swift left turn onto another street. "Well I mean I had a crush on multiple celebrities at the same time. And, I'm guessing you're meaning those actually around us? well I don't think I have, or if I did I'd never acknowledge it because I was raised in a family that would find that weird and possibly bash it."

"That's what brings me into thinking about our different cultures, because I always wondered if it is different there when it comes to liking more than one person. Like is it banned? Or illegal."

"Are you telling me that you are in love with two people right now?"

Tooru stayed quiet. However, Shan took his silence as an answer.

"That sounds really tough. But if we're going to talk about this type of topic based on our cultures. I think marrying multiple partners in both our countries is illegal. But we can, for instance, date them and love them or so. You're going to have people that judge you for your choice to love more than one person. While some don't care and others support." Shan said, taking another left into a parking lot where the nail salon she usually goes to was at. "But regardless, I feel like it's more about what you want and what you feel is right. You shouldn't need the world's validation for what you feel is right."

Tooru just nodded, still not saying anything but just decided to look out the window.

"What if the ones you love don't love you the way you love them?"

She was looking around for a parking spot before finally pulling into one after like two minutes. Shan then put the car into park and then turned the ignition off to look over at Tooru.
