Feeling accomplishment for something you planned to do and finally doing it was the best feeling ever. Thus, feeling proud of said work made Koutarou extremely happy. He stared at the storyboard feeling proud swell in his chest. This made his heart beam within as it made him feel useful. He helped Kenma take some of the load off.

He felt useful for once.

Koutarou's smile slightly faltered but he quickly push those upcoming negative thoughts out his head. Making his way over to his room to find Kenma animating away, while taking some sips of tea.

"Kozume, I did it." He walked forward, maneuvering to the right side of Kenma watching him be so in tuned with his work. So, Koutarou saw he didn't want to be much of a bother. So, he decided to place the storyboard down against the wall beside the table. He got back up and decided to stroll out the room to the living room to start listening to the song by Sam Smith so he can start thinking of a dance for his team. While feeling the need to go in the kitchen to start prepping his food for the week as well.

This system helped him know and remember to eat on time. So, he didn't have to buy anything from places or eat unnecessary things besides the pastries. He shouldn't be eating pastries but he couldn't help that they taste so good. Especially seeing them be made by Keiji.

He got up walking to the kitchen, looking into the fridge to find something to make. His mind was rambling with different thoughts as he picked out veggies, some meat from his freezer. Along with getting some other things. His mind started to think about his mother randomly as he pulled out the cutting board.

Why does he have so many stuff that reminds him of her?

It kinda irritated him. She wasn't a bad person or so, just wish she could've done some things differently when raising him and all of his siblings along the way. Especially the older ones. It was a total of six of them. He had three older sisters, one older brother and then one younger brother all together.

One of his sisters, older brother and younger brother are technically his step - siblings due to their father marrying his and his two sisters mother. They always been around each other since they were way younger and were raised together. So, he always considered them his blood siblings no matter what.

He had a good relationship with all of them but sometimes he kinda keeps his distance when they all come to visit their parents. Well he kept his distance from his mother mainly. She always seemed to have something to say about him and it's never a overly nasty type of comment. It's just something you never like to hear and he was always too scared to say something because he'd possibly be looked at as being sensitive. It didn't help that their mother never apologizes she either buys them stuff or feed them as an apology.

Koutarou on the other hand tried to not think about the past. When he had left for his first year of college and got himself a dorm, she had apologized for not being the best mother to him. And, honestly he did have a small hope that they could fix the small problems. He wanted to believe her then but she never proved herself. She stayed the same and that's why Koutarou kept his distance. He will still call her sometimes to check in on her, and their dad. He didn't have much of a problem with his dad, it's just sometimes they were awkward with one another. Like he was a good father, ..just awkward.

Why was he thinking about them? Koutarou stared down at the everything. Maybe, it's the cutting board. It was a gift from her.

Damn.

Koutarou could feel his mind being clouded with more thoughts and old memories from the past. And, he didn't like it at all. So he decided to take a step back. He yanked the headphones out his ears, picking up his phone from the counter to throw it on the couch in the living room. He wanted to clear his mind of all of these thoughts. Having a mind that was so clogged and couldn't think straight frustrated Koutarou.

It felt overwhelming.

"Fuck." He walked over to his room straight to his bed flopping on top of it. Kenma hearing the annoyed grunts turned his head thinking it was something else when looking at Koutarou just laying there like a log, not moving.

"Bokuto? Are you okay?"

A grunt.

"Bokuto? Can you lift your head and talk to me?" Kenma snorted, watching him roll over on the bed to face him. Which alarmed Kenma to see Koutarou looking extremely bothered and sad.

"What happened?"

"Nothing, don't worry." The now sad dancer turned his body away from Kenma. "I'll be fine, just finish your work."

"Wait, Bokuto? Are you sure?" Kenma was growing worried but didn't want to be annoying. To make his worry rise even more is that Koutarou was not replying at all. And, he knew he might not get no response either. So, he decided to sit down and work on as much work as he can before going over to Koutarou to make him feel better.

Because something was wrong.
