Suddenly, the barn door busts open.
Both Sam and Dean look to see who it is. Sam knows. Dean, on the other hand, he can't really see. His vision went blurry. All he could see was a long, coat like figure, storming towards them. Dean couldn't move. He was in too much pain. His first reaction was to grab his gun. He then remembered that he had been stabbed. "Welp," He thought to himself. "Looks like we both dyin' tonight." Sam looked back at Dean. Dean looked so weak. He looked like he was trying to keep his eyes open. In fact, Dean was trying to keep his eyes open. "Sammy," Dean said. "I- My eyes... I can't keep them open.." Sam's eyes went wide. "Dean," He said. "Please. Just a little longer.." Dean shook his head. "No, I can't. Goodbye, Sam." Dean began to shut his eyes. Sam shook him a little bit. "Dean.. Please.." He could feel the tears ready to pour out of his eyes. He couldn't watch Dean die. In his arms. Again. This brought Sam flashbacks from when Metatron stabbed Dean. He died in his arms. He wasn't about to let it happen again. "Please.." Too late. Dean took his last breath. His lifeless body laid against Sam's. Sam couldn't hold it anymore. He began to cry.
The figure then reached The Winchesters. Sam had completely forgot that someone had came in the barn. The figure.. It was Castiel! Cass tried to take Dean away from Sam, but Sam wouldn't budge. "No! Please!" Once Cass finally got Dean away from Sam, Sam cried into his hands. "Please.." Cass dragged Dean's corpse all the way outside. He could still hear Sam sobbing. He knew Sam was hurt. But he had to help Dean. Cass stared at the lifeless body in front of him. He could feel a tear rolling down his cheek. He had been in love with Dean for 11 years. From the moment he "gripped him tight and raised him from perdition", to the moment he summoned The Empty. It wasn't Chuck who told him to rescue him from Hell. Cass did it himself. He saved Dean on his own. He never listened to Chuck. It never was his "thing". But, Cass wasn't gonna let Dean die on a hunt gone wrong. It was up to him to save Sam, Dean, and the rest of the night. Cass wiped his tears away and flipped Dean onto his stomach. There was this large wound on his back. It was bloody and it looked very painful. Cass raised his hand over the wound. A light yellow glow started to appear. He moved his hand away, and the wound was gone. "Just because the wound is gone, doesn't mean Dean is back." Cass had to remind himself that.
Cass then flipped Dean over again, now he was laying on his back. Cass put two fingers on Dean's forehead. The light glow appeared once more. A couple seconds pass, and the light glow fades. Cass moves his hand away. "C'mon, C'mon.." Cass tried again. But this time, the glow's light grew bigger and bigger. He had hope. He wanted Dean back. He wanted his Dean back. Every minute, the light grew bigger. Cass put his other hand on Dean's chest. He wanted to feel his heart beat, that is if he brought him back. For a second, Cass really thought he felt a beat. Just one. But then, that one turned into one after the other. Next thing you know, Dean's eyes popped open. He took a big gasp. Dean sat up really quick. He looked around, then he saw Cass. "Cass?" He asked. "Am I dead?" Cass laughed. "No," he said. "Your alive." Dean couldn't help but smile. There he was, one minute he was dead as those vamps in the barn. Next minute, he's alive, sitting next to the person he wanted the most. His Angel. Dean felt his back. The wound was gone, but there was a scar. He looked at Cass once again. "Wheres Sam?"
Cass opened the barn door. Sam was just sitting there. In the same spot. He didn't move at all. He looked so tired, so sad. Sam turned and looked at the door. He saw Cass, then Dean. "Dean?" Sam asked. "Your alive?" Dean smiled. "Yeah. I'm just as surprised as you are." Dean then looked at Cass. "I wouldn't be if it weren't for Cass tho." Sam stood up and ran over to them. He gave Dean a big hug. "Let's go home."

While Sam was packing everything up, Dean and Cass had to clean up the barn. There were bodies EVERYWHERE. The entire time they were cleaning, Cass tried to talk to Dean. "So," he started. "How long ago did you guys stop Chuck?" Dean didn't look at Cass at all. He seemed mad. "Dean?" Cass slowly walked over to Dean. He put his hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him. Dean couldn't hold it in anymore. He was angry, but also sad. Cass left him in the most painful way possible. Dean stared at the ground a little longer. He then looked at his best friend. Dean needed Cass. He felt like he was gonna cry. Dean threw himself into Cass's arms. He gave him the tightest hug you'd ever imagine. Cass was in shock. "I- Dean?" Dean tightened his arms around Cass's torso. "Don't do that," he whispered. "Don't leave me ever again." At this moment, Cass knew exactly what Dean was talking about. He hugged him back. "I won't," he said. "I promise."
