The next morning, Dean looked into his arms. Castiel was still there. He looked like he was sleeping. Maybe he was sleeping. He did have a rough night, with his wings coming in and what not. Dean nudged him. "Cass." Castiel groaned and shifted. "Cass," Dean said again, nudging him for the second time. "Yeah?" Cass asked. "Were you sleeping?" Dean asking, gently rubbing the angel's back. Cass put his face in his pillow. "I don't know, maybe." Dean sat up. "Want me to check your back?" Cass didn't answer, or move. He just breathed. "Cass?" Dean took the blanket off of him. Cass groaned. "WHY," he said. "WhY dO pEoPlE dO tHaT?" Cass grabbed the blanket and covered himself again. Dean laughed. "I'm gonna take that as a no." Cass took his hand out from under the blanket and put a thumbs up. "Are you hungry?" Cass put up a thumbs down. "Uh, okay. I'm gonna go get ready for the day." Dean said, smelling his armpit. "Starting with a shower."
Cass put his arm back under the blanket. "Can I get a kiss first?" Dean took the blanket off of him again. Cass stared at him. "Because you did that," he started. "No." The angel reached for the blanket again, but Dean held it. Cass looked at him. "Wha-?" Dean shook his head. "I get kiss, you get blanket. Deal?" Cass nodded. He sat up and pecked Dean's lips. "Blanket please," Cass stuck out his hand. Dean pulled the blanket farther away. "Uh uh! That was nothing!" Cass rolled his eyes and chuckled a bit. "Fine." Cass got up and got closer to the older Winchester. He kept getting closer and closer. The closer he got, the closer DEAN got. Once their lips were centimeters away from touching, Cass began his master plan. He starting teasing. And Dean was falling for it. Cass finally gave in and kissed his boyfriend. Then he quickly grabbed the blanket and pulled away. Dean's jaw dropped. "Why? Why did you do that?" Cass shrugged. "I wanted my blanket." Dean chuckled and shook his head and got out of bed. "You mean OUR blanket." Cass laid back down. "No, I meant what I said." Dean smiled to himself. He then leaned down and kissed the angel's head. "I'm gonna go now." And with that, Dean had left the room.
Once the coast was clear, Castiel got out of bed. He got up slowly, since he was still in pain. He went by their bedroom door mirror. He took off his shirt. Just as he started to peel his bandage off, Dean opened the door, knocking Cass of his feet. The angel fell and hit his back against the wall, causing him to scream in agony. "Cass?!" Dean screamed as he helped him up. "What are you doing? Are you okay?" Cass grunted and held his back. "I'm fine. I was just trying to check my back." Dean squinted his eyes. "Didn't I offer to check it for you?" Cass shook his head. "Cass," Dean said. "I know you know that I offered." Cass looked down. "Why did you say no?" Dean asked. "I said no because I wanted to do it myself. You always take care of others before yourself." Cass said. "I just wanted you to do your daily stuff first." Dean took Cass's hand. "I don't put everyone first," he said. "I put the people I love first. Meaning Sam and you." Cass smiled. "I know but you have to put yourself first at least once."Dean nodded. "Yeah, okay. I will. But, I'm gonna change you're bandage first, because it's gonna be hard to do when you can barley reach your back." They both laughed. "Okay," Cass said. "You're right. Help me?"

Later that day, Cass's pain got worse and worse. He laid on the new couch they - Sam - got moaning and groaning in pain. Dean walked from the kitchen carrying a cup of water and a beer. He handed the water to Cass. "Thanks," Castiel said. "I'm fine, but thanks." Dean sat the end of the couch. "How ya feelin'?" Cass drank some water. "It hurts. Can we go to the beach?" Dean choked on his beer. "Eh?! You literally can't move- and you wanna go to the beach?!" Cass set the glass down and groaned again. "I told you. I'm fine." Dean shook his head. "No, we're not going anywhere." Cass sat up. "Pleeeeeeeeeaseeee," he began to shake Dean's arm. "Stop- what are you doing?" Dean yanked his arm away. Cass pouted. "I wanna go to the beach! It doesn't hurt that bad.. C'mon! Please?" Dean rolled his eyes. "Fine. But first," Dean left the room and came back with painkillers. "Let's see if these work." Cass laid back down. "Those aren't gonna work. I'm not human." Dean put two pills in his hand. "Just try. If you want to go to the beach, then take them." Dean dropped the pills into his boyfriend's hand. Cass picked up the glass and drank the rest of the water. "I need more," he said, handing Dean the glass. "Get me more?" Dean took the glass and went back to the kitchen and filled up the glass again.
