I've never been in love, so i don't really know what it really means or holds or how deeply a person experiences it. To the bones? To the very core?
But to me love means...
Sacrifices
Compromises
Hardships
PainWhen you know that you'll have to go through all of this and more, but still, you are willing to stay by their side no matter the situation,
That's love.
When all you want is for them to be happy and blessed, even if its not with you.
When you're willing to let them go, if circumstances call for it, even if it hurts.
When you're willing to lose a part of yourself for them, even if it's wrong to do so.
When you keep on loving them selflessly, even if they don't reciprocate your feelings or stopped loving you sometime in the past.
When you're willing to wait for them for an eternity, even if it chokes you.
That's love.
When it makes you want to just immerse yourself in that feeling.
When it makes you want to just flow in that passion.
When it makes you want to just grow old with them by your side.
When it makes you want to be a better person just for them.
When it makes you want to start believing in happily ever after's and forever's.
When it makes you want to just take away all their sorrows and pain.
That's love.
Love is like air to people in love. They breathe it in and consume It with every cell in their body.
*inhales*
*keeps inhaling*
*thinks it's enough so starts exhaling*
*chokes*It's never "enough".
It makes them turn into a fish in the sea. Once out of the water (falling out of love) they start choking. Suffocating.
Everything starts seeming weird when nothing has changed except for a few feelings.
That's love.
Right?
