Into the castle

I walked back into the castle being greeted by knights asking how my day on the town was. They make it seem like i didn't just go shopping.

I walked up the stairs just to be greeted by a waiting Tommy, "Dad!" he said falling out of his daze and looked to me. "Hello Tommy." i chuckled as he immediately hugged my leg when i got up the stairs. I looked around for any of my eldest kids, none were in sight. "What're your older siblings doing?" i asked smiling down at him then picking him up, he hesitated "Techno and Will are playing chess and Alice is.." he trailed off looking at her room. "She was sad earlier." he whispered in my ear scared Alice might hear.

"Why?" i asked whispering back copying his mannerisms, "I'm not all that sure. But i think it's because of that book." he said staring at her room.

"Oh." i said walking to her room.
