Dad always said

The wings sprouted from her back her wings were way bigger than dads. Dad always said 'the more powerful and more angry the person is when they get their wings the bigger' but she didn't seem angry. She was crying.

Just then Techno walked in his eyes wide as he dropped the wrapping paper covered present he'd held. It was one that was from me, Wilbur, and Techno. He rushed to her side hugging her letting her cry on his shoulder. She embraced him in a hug they both weren't ones for physical contact due to lack of it when they were my age. But together, it was okay. They never turned from each-other no matter the argument. I didn't know what was going on, neither did Techno, but we both were worried still.

Wilbur looked surprised, same with Dad. "Are you angry Alice?" i asked, i don't read emotions well but since Dad said that wings grew the more mad you were. "Because dad said-"—"Yeah, yeah. Dad said you're wings grow bigger when you're angry i know. You wanna know what he also said?" Alice interrupted shooting up from the ground with fire in her eyes, the same fire in her eyes, voice, and movement from their fight. Only, the flame grew larger, Dad also said the flame gets more fuel with anger. He was still sat with watery eyes, not of sadness of guilt. Guilt was an emotion i could read because i felt it all too much.

"He said, Techno is the new King. He took my wings, my respect for him, and the one thing he's been hurrying me towards." Alice shouted, and a guard from the out side peeked in with curiosity then almost immediately ran, without looking back. Was he really scared of her?

I turned back looking into Technos eyes as he sat on the ground. Watery eyes, of guilt.
