Your King

She's angry

Alice was a lot of things brave, sincere, mature, and respectful but most of those things go away when she's angry.

She gains a new personality cold, vengeful, ruthless overall, this was something me and Tommy were unfamiliar with. But it's something Techno knows all too well, he seen the first duel after all.

They stood back to back like those gun fights i've heard of from books. But, instead of being literally back to back they only had their backs facing eachother while being on other sides of the yard. Tommy sat his gaze wondering seeming to be analyzing every last bit of what's happening, worried.

Alice stomped three times for a countdown, they raised their swords, turned to each-other, and charged quite like jousting.

The silence of the yard did not match their charging stomps, Dad took on the first hit, aiming for her leg,  Alice challenged his hit by blocking it with her own sword the steel clashed and i cringed as Alice moved her sword down to the swords handle for more power, or at least enough to move Dads sword towards him. Alas she achieved her goal.

They both had stern expressions. It was quite scary. Alice turned on her feet breaking out of the clash and she ran a few feet back as Dad recovered, bringing his sword up from after Alice let go abruptly.

A few swings later and neither of them drew blood, there was many times Alice could've but she dragged on the battle longer. "Why did you even insist on doing this, i'm your Father!" Dad said swinging at Alice as she dodged every swing, "No, no, the real question is why did you accept, i'm your daughter, your only daughter!" Alice said, now blocking his swings and swinging for him as he now dodged. He didn't answer and i wasn't sure he would.

Alice slithered in closer to Dad running behind him and pinning him down so he was facing the ground. His sword clashed with the ground as it fell out of his hand, his wings flapped trying to defend himself with them. "You are no daughter of mine! You are a monster." Dad said wiggling under Alice attempting to get out of her grasp, me and Tommy gasped as Techno looked like he had seen this all before. "If i were truly a monster i would cut off your wings telling you it's safer. But instead.." she said cutting herself off then getting off of him,

"I won't. If i were exactly like you hesitant, cowardly and most of all, immature. Maybe then, just maybe." she walked off into the castle and into her room i'm guessing. We just sat there bewildered, with nothing to say.
