But, i stopped

Running around the castle with the knight on my heels was accelerating, i giggled the whole time never stopping to catch my breath. But, i stopped seeing Wilbur was stood barley in the library. The knight saw too and stopped then walked behind me.

I walked up to Wilbur and hugged him, practically pushing him into the room, the knight held open the door making sure it didn't hit us. "Wilby!" i yelled hugging him tighter, "You should play ta- What's wrong?" i cut myself off after seeing Wilbur looking horrified. I look to where he stared and seen Dad with wings on his back. I hid behind Wilbur, as i'd barley recognized him.

"Dad?" i said my voice weak, "Son, i'm sorry you have to see me this way.".

A few moments passed of him explaining why he had wings, saying he earned them and the gift of immortality along side the wings. "I can also get birds- crows to come to me. I'm not exactly sure why but my only guess is that they think i'm their parent." Dad said with a soft smile.

"How come we don't have wings?" i said petting his soft wings, "You all had more of your mothers genes except for-"

"Me."
