Finding Batman

- present-day - 

" Guys, what's going on? have you found him?" dick asks a robin didn't know what to say, " uhh... kind of" robin replied as batgirl placed her dad's belt around her shoulder and chest making sure it was safe, " what does that mean?" dick as in confusion. " don't worry, I think we're close. we'll let you know." robin said before he walked towards batgirl, " you okay?" he asks as batgirl shakes her head. " no. I'm scared Tim, I don't want to lose my dad like I lost Jason." she said as she turned away from robin, " we'll find him, together" robin said but batgirl scoffs and pushed his hand off her shoulder. " yeah right, every time I'm about to take out a thug or save someone, you swoop in and take all the credit. I'm sick of it" she said in anger as robin sighs before he was about to say something but (Y/N) raised her hand to stop him, " don't. let's just find my dad." she said before walking into the next room as robin followed. 

they made it to a large room that had a statue of the joker at the end of the room. batgirl and robin walked in and looked around, there was writing on the walls and drawings of joker and Harley Quinn. batgirl then looked at the glass circle that the state of the joker was holding and saw her dad inside, " DAD!" batgirl called out as it caught robin's attention. they ran towards the statue as batgirl sighs in relief before clicking her gauntlet, " dick, we found him." she said. " is he ok?" dick asks, " Quinn's got him trapped" robin replied in ear-peace. " well, get him out of it" dick said as robin looked at the statue closely, " harley's built some kind of monument to the joker and it's stopping me from getting to batman." robin replied, " looking at this place, she's crazier then we thought. we're gonna search the area and try to work out how to save him" batgirl said before the comms went quiet. 

batgirl and robin looked around before finding a control panel, " hey robin, take a look at this" batgirl called out. robin walked up and looked at the control panel as well, " this security panel appears to control the statue" she explained, " yeah but batman will die in there if we don't find the key" robin said as batgirl thinks for a moment and turned to robin, " I guess we should go find Harley Quinn and asks her for it." she said, but before they could leave the room Harley Quinn's voice was heard. " can you hear me down there, bird-boy and batsy. how does it feel? do you think he knows he's going to die? I hope so. I want him to know how my joker felt. that's why I get to watch it happen from my secret room. you'll never find us. you don't even know that there's a shipyard here. do you?" Harley said, " errr... Harley..... I errr, think you may have told them..." a thug said as batgirl giggled silently as robin smiled at her, " uhh, you should ignore what I said. I was... I was joking. yeah, that's it. bye" Harley said before the speakers go quiet. " guess we're heading to the shipyard then," Batgirl said as robin nodded his head and started to follow batgirl. 

batgirl and robin made it to the shipyard and saw Harley Quinn in the distance, " okay, let's slit up. we can take them out quicker." robin said, batgirl nodded her head before they both grappled up into the shadows as Harley spoke to her thugs, " listen up, dumb asses. I want this room kept secure. in fact, I need this room kept secure. I don't care how you do it. just don't let me down. mister J wouldn't like it if you failed me, would he?" Harley said as batgirl took out two thugs silently and robin had taken out two thugs. " no he wouldn't. he'd be very upset. he'd probably kill you all, or, break your legs, or, glue your eyes open, or, make you eat a grenade. hell, who am I kidding? he'd do something much better. he was mister J, right? he always knew what to do. I'm just here, alone. relying on you idiots. so don't fail me!" Harley said before she started looking around the room of Batgirl and robin.  

after batgirl took out the last thug, robin landed next to her and nodded at her before they both ran towards Harley and started to fight her. they missed her attacks before batgirl uppercuts her making her fall to the ground. robin grabs Harley and held her near a railing, " get off me!" she said in anger, " the key!" robin demanded, " you'll never find it dumbass!" Harley said as she struggled but batgirl smiled as she walked towards her and said, " really?" she then quickly takes the key card out of harley's bra. " no! that's mine!" Harley said before she tried to take the keycard back as robin held her back, " let me go!" she demanded. robin smiled, "whatever you say," he said before he pushed Harley over the railing as a rope wrapped around her leg and bangled her on the railing as Batgirl and robin left. 

batgirl smiled as she and robin got close to the joker shrine room, " hey. we did good" she said to robin with a smile, " yeah, I guess we did" he said as he opened the door for her. they both walked in and saw loads of thugs surrounding the room as they stopped in their tracks, " well, look who it is!" a thug said. " little robin and batgirl come back to play" another said as he gave an evil smile to batgirl who looked distrusted, " you ready for us to kick your ass, little sidekick?"  we don't mind" two thugs replied with laughter as robin slowly takes out his weapon, " Nah, we'll have fun. break your wings, then your scrawny little neck too" a thug said as Batgirl smiled, " not before we do" batgirl said before she and robin charged at the thugs and started to fight them. 

once they were all dealt with batgirl ran towards the control panel and placed the key card in it. the joker statue slammed the glass circule down onto the ground before the door was smashed open from the inside. robin and batgirl walked up and batman walked out, " dad!" (Y/N) said in happiness as she went to hug her dad. batman hugged her back as he said, " what kept you two?". " every heard of thank you," robin asks as batgirl lets go of the hug before taking batman's tool belt off her and handed it to batman, " what happened to the cops?" he asks as he placed his belt back on his hip, " guess not" batgirl replied as she looked at robin who shrugged his shoulders. 

" you don't need to worry about them, bat-brain. they'll be bead soon, oh, and so- will- you" Harley said on the speakers as a door grate opened and a bomb was replied as it beeps. " you two save the cops, I'll handle the bomb," batman said as robin nodded his head and grabs (Y/N)'s arm but she pulled it out of his grip, " no. I'm not losing you again, dad. I'm staying, robin will get the cops and you will need someone who knows bombs so well." she said, batman sighs before nodding his head. batgirl turned to robin and smile, " we'll be fine" she said as robin smiled at her back and he took off running. " oh, good luck with that losers!" Harley said on the speakers.
