Chapter 44: Don't lose faith

Sasuke’s POV

A purple aura radiated around me... I was full of energy. I've never felt this good. Kaiji nodded.

"You are my first student to achieve perfect Sage mode. Use your power with reason. For the defense and protection of others. Never use it for evil purposes or Sage mode will pay you back later. Do you understand?" I nodded, but… I don’t care. With this power, I will finally defeat the damn fox and I will be the strongest. Circumstances don't interest me.

"I guess we'll say goodbye now. We already have training and there is nothing I can teach you. Say hello to Orochimaru from me. He was also my student."

"I can’t do that. He’s dead."

"R-really? Who killed him?'

"Uzumaki Naruto, you have a visit!" said Benga.

"Really? Who?"

"Hatake Kakashi, you can enter inside. Dare to think of something suspicious!" I nodded. K-Kakashi-sensei… I didn’t see him in a long time.

"Who is it?" asked Rami. I ignored him.

"Kakashi-sensei, what are you doing here?"

"I’m surprised you still remember me, Naruto. I heard about you… It was nothing nice." I was upset.

"To this day, I regret it, also because of her…" He smirked.

"Fine, unfortunately you will have to pay for your actions. And no one knows how long…"

"I know," I said.

"But… I can intercede for you at our new Hokage. Only she can get you out of here." I shook my head.

"It won’t be her, it will be him."

"Him?"

"The boss wants to know how the seal affects you. Come on, we don't have all day." Ahh… This is really weird. Why would they want to know it? I should be more careful… I can’t trust anyone.

Hinata’s POV

I’m still training with Neji-nii-san to help Naruto-kun in the future. But I’m also worried about him. It’s been days and I know nothing about him. I wish I could visit him, but only Kakashi-san had the permission. I have to stay patient. For him.

"Hinata-sama, how long do you plan not to pay attention to me?"

"You know you won’t see him any time soon. Forget about him. At least for now."

"You are right, I won’t help him with this attitude!" He smirked.

"Gentle fist!" I made Kaiten. I tried to combine it with Two Lion Fist. But it never worked out. I ended up falling on the ground. Neji-nii-san helped me up.

"That’s why you should more concrete. Look, I also don’t like the idea he’s in Hozuki Castle. I don’t like him, but I know something about the place. And believe me, you would rather be dead than there. But I don’t want to scare you or something. I’m just telling you what’s awaiting him. He’ll be lucky to get out. But I’m not sure about that. "You don’t know him…"

"You believe in him too much. But don’t be dissapointed later." I nodded.
