Chapter 16 - Know Pain

Rock Lee gave up on his dream, but he never lost hope. He was still helping others as a ninja.

"Naruto was captured and Akatsuki killed Hokage!" said Sakura.

"How could they do something so horrible! We have to save Naruto-kun!"

"Lee…"

"I know I can’t do anything, but I’ll do everything I can to help Naruto-kun!"

"Thank you, can you please call free jonins and chunins? We’ll need them!" Rock Lee agreed and went to look after free jonins and chunins.

"Isn’t that Neji?" Lee went closer to him.

"Neji! We need your help!"

"What’s going on?" asked Neji.

"Naruto was captured and Hokage was murdered, we need every free hand to help Naruto-kun!"

"Naruto? Why was he even captured?"

"He’s jinchuuriki. You didn’t know that? Sakura-san told me."

"Jinchuuriky? What does that mean?"

"Kyuubi is sealed within him."

"Kyuubi?! That’s why others were keeping a distance from him. So this is his destiny. It’s his destiny, so he has to die."

"Neji, wake up! It will affect the whole shinobi world!"

"Is that so? It’s destiny, so we will die."

"How can you be so cruel?! Naruto-kun is our friend! And this is your mission from Tsunade-sama!"

"Mission? Then you should have said it right away. I’m going!"

"Go to Tsunade-sama first!" Neji nodded and left to see Tsunade.

"Someone should beat his mind," said Lee.

"Whose mind should be beat?" asked Tenten.

"Oh, Tenten! You are chunin, right?!"

"Yes, I am, but what’s with that?"

"We need your help! Go to Tsunade-sama immediately!" Tenten was confused, but she did as he said. Unfortunately, Kakashi and Guy were on the mission. Lee found others and went back to Tsunade.

"W-why were we called here?" asked Hinata.

"I’ll explain!" said seriously Tsunade.

"Unfortunately, our Hokage was murdered, so I represent him now! Akatsuki are the one who did this! But that’s not all, they captured Naruto!"

"Our Hokage was... And N-Naruto-kun? He came back?!"

"It happened in the morning. I know it’s crazy, but now I’ll need you to save him! Any objections?"

"It’s a drag, but I want to be the leader. I have a plan already."

"Fine, Shikamaru. I’m always amazed by your quick thinking!"

"I want to go with you!" said Temari who was there on expedition.

"Why would you do that?" asked Tsunade.

"Naruto changed my brother and helped him to become Kazekage. I want to repay the debt."

"All right, any other objections?"

"We have to save him!" yelled Hinata.

"Don’t worry! I can save him all alone!" said seriously Kiba.

"Kiba, that’s impossible. Because they are all S-rank criminals and you are just a chunin," said Shino.

"You have to ruin everything!" said Kiba.

"Enough! Your leader is Shikamaru! Listen to him! I have to stay here and represent Hokage!" They agreed.

"So this is the plan…"

With Naruto

"Naruto, are you okay?!" asked Sasuke. But Naruto was out of his mind.

"Hahahahahah!!!"

"Uhh." Suddenly came someone with orange hair and piercing.

"You are Naruto, right?"

"Hahah… that’s me." Naruto smirked.

"Did you kill Hokage like Deidara said?"

"Here is his heart!" Naruto handed him the box. 

"I will check it out."

"Do what you want."

"And you are?" Then Pain saw Sasuke’s Sharingan.

"Uchiha Sasuke."

"I see, why are you here?"

"Itachi didn’t tell you anything?"

"Itachi you say. He never mentioned he has a brother."

"Then how do you know I’m his brother?"

"You look a lot like him and you are Uchiha."

"Tss, that doesn’t mean anything."

"Why are you here?"

"Hey, what about me?!" interupted Naruto.

"Just wait," said Pain.

"I’m here to kill that bastard who murdered my whole clan!" said Sasuke.

"Oh this. You're knocking on the wrong door. Itachi never did this on purpose."

"Of course he did! You weren't there when it happened!" Sasuke was loosing his patience.

"Calm down, I’m just saying the truth."

"Don’t think so. You are just lying!" Sasuke lunged at him.

"You won’t calm down, will you?" Pain used gravity jutsu on Sasuke.
