Chapter 32 - Mission or date?

Shikamaru had free time and visited Temari in the Hidden Sand Village. Temari couldn’t leave her village because it suffers from the lack of ninjas and Tsunade didn’t need Shikamaru’s big brain right now. Shikaku was enough.

"I didn’t expect you here," said Temari.

"I had free time so I decided to visit you. What a drag to stay in the village…"

"Is there a sentence in which you don't say 'what a drag'?"

"Ahh, what a drag to think about it…" Temari giggled.

"You can be pretty funny sometimes."

"I’m always funny!" Shikamaru smirked and pointed at himself. Temari laughed.

"Like right now for an example." Then Shikamaru took her to a restaurant.

Next day was happening Sasuke’s and Sakura’s mission. They should transport the drugs to another country. The Hidden Rain Village. And because everyone knows it’s dangerous there, Sasuke was accompanying her.

"Thank you for coming with me, Sasuke-kun," said Sakura.

"It’s a mission, nothing more."

"That's clear to me," said sadly Sakura. Sasuke was still thinking about Naruto’s power. Something he has to overcome... But suddenly a poisoned kunai was thrown at Sakura. Sasuke saw it at the last minute.

"Sakura!" Sasuke pushed her to the ground and let the kunai to injure him. His injured place was all purple. That pain was unbearable, but Sasuke acted as if it was all right. Then he examined the place and found the bastards. He put them into genjutsu and killed them. It was stronger genjutsu than normal. But then Sasuke fell on the ground. He was  losing himself and fell unconcious. He had a fever and was sweating.

"S-Sasuke-kun…" Sakura blamed herself for this. She healed Sasuke, but she needed some herbs to heal it fully. She treated his wound and went to find some herbs.

"Sakura, don’t leave..." said Sasuke from the last forces.

"I-I will be back soon!" Sakura preferred to set off. She knew she would never leave if she didn’t leave now. Sasuke fell asleep in pain...

Mission had today even Ino and Sai. They were accompanying a friend of the Feudal Lord. Very important person for the land.

"Ehhh, I can’t believe I have to do this…" complained Ino.

"I think it will be fine," said Sai and smiled, it was no longer fake.

"You think so? I hope no one will attack us…"

"Don’t worry, I’ll protect you," said Sai and smiled again. This calmed Ino down.

"Stop flirting you two! I will be killed because of it!" complained that man.

"We were not-! Well, it doesn’t matter…" said Ino. Sai drew a bird and guarded it from above. Ino was amazed by his jutsu. It was so beautiful. Their mission went well and when they were going back, Sai grabbed Ino's hand and put her on the bird. They were flying back to Konoha in the moonlight...

When Kiba and Shino were okay after their hospitality, they learned what Hinata had done. They were upset because they were sure Naruto had killed her. They experienced what he was capable of.

"I hope Hinata is still alive," said Shino.

"After Kurenai-sensei got married to Asuma-sensei and now she has a child with him, Hinata was all we had left. If that bastard Naruto did something to her, I don't guarantee for myself!" said seriously Kiba.

"Kiba, I hope you are saying it figuratively because you are no opponent to Naruto."

"Tss, don’t understaminate me! Together with Akamaru we are capable of anything!"

"Do as you think," said Shino.

"I can even become Hokage and wipe him off!"

"Kiba, you should be quiet sometimes..." thought Shino.
