6. Escape

I woke up feeling groggy. Ugh! My head hurts! That's right! He put a bullet in my forehead! Arghhhhhh! Goodness! It was hard to take that bullet out! I look around and I'm in a cage. Just great. "Heyyyyyy!!! Let me out of here!" I growled. It's a good thing my wig is still on.

I tried to use my magic, vampire strength, even my werewolf side. Nothing! I'm drained still. I need blood. My eyes are a hungry dark red. (Ignore this woman's skin color!)

BLOOD.

I can't lose control. I'll end up ripping someone's end off. Not unless they deserved it. ;)

"You're bloody red eyes goes well with your brown hair. Oh how I wish you were my mate." The vampire said. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. As I was about to threaten him another vampire comes in. "We've got ourselves a warlock!"

Theo Cage, a very talented warlock in the Malejicis faction. (Really "Makejicis," in Latin, is just Witches in English) He is one of the best warlocks. He could be useful to me right now. They shoved him in a cage next to me. He looked at me with widen eyes. Oh good lord.

"Don't tell me you've never seen a vampire before?"

He relaxed and chuckled. "No I just haven't seen..."

"You. The Tribrid," he mouthed.

"Great. Another person I'd have to kill."

He tensed up.

"I'm kidding. Only if you give me a reason to not kill you. I'm listening."

"I can get you out of here," he whispered. I grinned at him. I can feel my energy coming back. "And in return, I'll make sure you get out safely too. I guess it's a deal."

Hello Theo. Now we are mind linked. Did you see anything outside?

There is a lot of snow. It's still snowing. We are in the woods, but we are underground.

Good. I'm going to bite you now. I will drink enough blood just to make you past out for like 2 minutes. I'm not gonna kill you. These idiots will open our cages and I'll kill them all. Once you wake up I'll be gone. Deal?

He hesitated for a moment.

Ok-kay deal.

I cut off our mind link.

Through the bars I bit him in the neck. Let me tell you. It was delicious. Then, he passed out. Great my energy is back! I heard shouts. They opened our cages. One tried to throw a wooden stake at me, but I caught it and threw it straight into his heart. One down seven more to go.  "I would really love to stay, but let's make this quick."

I snapped my neck to the right and every vampire fell to the ground. A little spell I created. "Ignis." The bodies went up in flames. I grabbed Theo and threw him over my shoulder. As I came up from underground I see more rogue vampire, but also with rogue werewolves. I put Theo down behind me. He should wake up soon.

They crowd around a group. There is at least 20 of them. I felt electric sparks flowing through my body. He's here. I could hear him, but I also hear...

Max.

I must've snapped because my vampire instincts kicked in. Before I realize it I just killed 20 rogue vampires and werewolves. Body parts are scattered all over. Blood staining the snow. I'm stained in blood. I looked up at them. I see my mate with his friends from the cafe and a few of his wolves and there is Max. I'm filled with anger and lust. I used my anger to push my urge for my mate.

"Don't ever come and try to find me again," I seethed.

Before he could say a word I sped off. They are following me. I jump for tree to tree. Until, I hear the the waves crashing against the rocks. "ADELINA!" Max shouted. My tears started to fall out. "I'm sorry," I whispered. I pushed myself a bit further. I can see the cliff I jumped and dived into the water. Max can't swim. And the rest are in their wolf form.

I stayed under water swimming. And yes I can hold my breath for a very long time. I will swim until I find land. I lost my wig along the way, but it's a good thing my necklace is still on. I'm so sorry Max. I'm so sorry mate. I just realized that I still don't know your name.
