~ Adelina ~ It's 11pm and not much people in the diner. The smell of food covers my scent, which is very helpful. No other supernatural being will be able to identify me. Specifically, Kai. I was serving a man in my section, which is towards the back when three people walked in.

"Clever girl. She compelled every worker here. They will only remember if they speak to her personally. She planned this carefully," Max said. Thanks Max. He knows me too well. This is bad. Kai smirked.
"Maybe she works day shift," Travis said.
"No she doesn't. She'd pick this type of shift, since there is less people, so she's here. And if she's here, then she could hear us," Max said. My eyes widen. 'Come find us, please!' Really Danny?! 'What I was being honest!' I rolled my eyes. I have to get out of here.
What could go wrong?

The front door bursted open, letting in the wind. Kai's head snapped up and his eyes stared into mine. I gasped. I smelt mint and fresh rain. Mate. Tears then again threaten to come out. I zoomed out before the could even get up. I opened the back door and tried to get out, but a spell blocked me from getting out. In front of me I see Theo and Sky. Behind me I see the three.
Before I could say a spell, Max snapped my neck.
