13. Whipped

~Adelina~
I'm lying in a field of grass. I'm in a white dress with no shoes. I got up and I looked up. There is a woman underneath a big and beautiful tree. She's in white too. She looks like.... MOM! She had the necklace she gave me on her. I ran towards her, but I wasn't fast enough. Blood started to drench her chest. She fell down and behind her was a man hold her heart. I started screaming and crying.

Someone jolted me awake. "Adelina! Adelina! Hey baby. Shhh. It's okay. It was just a nightmare. I'm right here. Shhhhhh. I'm right here," Kai cooed. I snuggled next to him. Enclosing the space between us. I sighed. "Kai?"

"Hmm?"

I looked up at him.

"Promise me something?"

He nodded.

"Never leave me?"

He chuckled.

"As long as you don't leave me."

"I promise, Kai."

Crap! I made a mistake.

He kissed my forehead.

"I promise you too Adelina."

God! I'm so whipped.

After hearing her scream in her sleep it made me wonder what was she dreaming about? We both fell back asleep. When I woke up she was on top of me with her head on my chest and her hands on my shoulders. My hands circled around her waist. With one hand I started to rub her back. God I'm so whipped.

I have very good peripheral vision. I mention this because I can see Max, my mother, Sky and Travis trying to sneak a peek. "She is still asleep you guys," I whispered.

They crept into our room. Huh. I like the feeling of saying 'our room.' "Oh honey. She looks so beautiful!" My mother whispered yelled. I rolled my eyes. Adelina began to stir. She scooted up to put her face in the crook of my neck and wrapped her arms around my waist. Then, she sighed.

Oh man. Oh man. Oh man. I'm going crazy.

"She had a nightmare."

"We know. We heard her screaming," Sky said.

Max was zoned out. He looked tired.

"Max?"

He looked at me.

"Yeah man?"

"What's up with you?"

He frowned.

"Lina's mind is very powerful. It seems like she accidentally mind linked me and I saw——"

"Saw what?" Travis asked.

He hesitated.

"Her nightmare."

We all snapped our heads towards Adelina, who is still sleeping on my chest. She whimpers a bit, then stops. She opens her eyes. She squealed and somehow we both ended up on the floor.

They all laughed, including me. She glared at me and playfully punched me on my naked chest. Yes I didn't wear a shirt to sleep. She yawned. "How long we're you guys here?"

"Long enough," my mother said.

Adelina put her head in her hands. I chuckled. I snaked my arm around her waist to turn her towards me. I wrapped both my arms around her waist and rest my head on top of hers.

"We'll be right down."

They nodded and left.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and was on her tippy toes. I laughed. I wrapped her legs around my waist and walked over to the bed, as she straddled my lap. She turned pink. Damn! She looks too cute right now. She slapped my shoulder. "Ow! What was that for?!"

"You've been eyeing me up and down ever since I woke up! Plus, your eyes says it all!" She pouted.

"True. True. And do you know why? It's because you are so damn gorgeous," I whispered into her ear. I kissed her neck and she sighed. It takes every single ounce of me not to groan.

Before I can give her another kiss she pushed me down onto the bed. My heart quickly shoots up. My wolf howls happily. Begging to take over and do all sorts of things to her. I like this side of her. She leans into me and whispered, "We better go downstairs before they think we are up to something." She pecked my lips and headed off into the bathroom leaving me shocked.

Damn! She's good!

That's my girl.
