***Rachel's p.o.v***
"Uugh!" I groaned plopping my head onto my notebook on the table.
I rolled over onto my cheek with a groan as I pouted.
"What's with the long face Rachel?" Natsu questioned as he sat across from me with Happy.
It's been a month since the Alvarez War ended. Everything has pretty much gone back to normal again here at Fairytail.
"I'm just having trouble with my magic as per usual," I grumbled.
"What's wrong with your magic?" Lucy asked as she and the rest of Team Natsu and Juvia joined me at the table.
"I just haven't figured out anything new yet, it's just frustrating," I sighed.
"New? Why would you need to learn anything new?" Gray questioned confused.
I perked up confused before I widened my eyes.
"Oh yeah, you don't know..." I muttered.
"Know what?" Wendy questioned.
I sighed before I explained to them what Valenzula had said to me during my week with him a year ago.
I only told them what he said, I didn't tell them what he did. I- I'm not ready for them to know that yet. I thankfully didn't break down, but I was a little shaken once I finished.
"So that's what's up. I've been trying to figure out anything new for the past year now, but I haven't been very successful," I sighed, finishing my explanation.
The others glanced at me sadly.
"Rachel we're sorry to hear that," Lucy muttered sadly.
I waved my hands in front of me. "Oh! Don't worry about it. I'm ok now, really! You don't have to worry about it," I responded quickly at their saddened expressions.
"Are you sure? We're here if you need it," Erza explained.
I smiled softly, "Thanks guys, but I'm doing much better now. I still have nightmares and occasional panic attacks, but I'm much better now than before. In fact, I should apologize for the way I acted towards you all back then. I shouldn't have shut you out. I'm sorry."
"No Rachel, don't apologize," Happy piped up.
"Yeah, it wasn't your fault," Lucy reassured.
"It was just your way of coping, nobody blames you," Erza reassured.
"Thanks guys," I smiled.
"Oh, but can we keep this between the guild? I'm not totally comfortable-"
"Not to worry, we won't tell anyone," Juvia smiled.
I smiled back.
"Now onto the topic of your magic, have you tried the library?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah, Freed and I couldn't find anything about my magic. Which only confirms my theory about me being the only spirit mage," I sighed.
"Maybe not here but maybe..." Lucy muttered trailing off.
"Lucy?" Happy questioned.
"I think I got an idea! Open: Gate of the Southern Cross, Crux!" Lucy shouted, summoning her spirit. An old cross guy appeared before us in a flash of light.
"Grandpa Crux, could you look through the celestial library to see if you can find anything on Rachel's magic?" Lucy asked him.
"Oh! I get it. If we can't find anything on this world maybe the celestial world knows," Gray smirked.
"Great idea Lucy," Carla praised.
Lucy smiled triumphantly.
"Hmm, it may take some time, but I'll see what I can find," Crux answered.
"Thank you Crux. Please take your time, any help is appreciated," I said to the spirit politely.
Crux nodded before he disappeared.
"Well, until then, what now?" Gray questioned.
"Have you felt or noticed anything different when training?" Erza asked.
"No, I'm afraid not," I sighed.
"Don't worry I'm sure we'll think of something. By the way Rachel have you changed your hair recently?" Lucy asked.
I brushed my bangs in embarrassment, "Yeah, I thought I would change it up a bit."
"I think it looks pretty!" Wendy praised.
"It's a wonderful change," Erza agreed.
"Juvia approves, and Juvia thinks Freed approves too," Juvia smirked.
I blushed turning away. "Nobody asked you," I pouted.
The girls laughed.
"Well, too bad your magic's not fire, then I could tell you what it's like for me," Natsu smirked as he ate the fire from a torch in his hand.
I gasped.
"Yeah, well it's not. Try to think of something helpful Flame-for-brains!" Gray yelled.
"I was Ice-Breath! I can learn a lot of things from a flame when I eat it!" Natsu retorted.
"Her magic isn't fire idiot!" Gray yelled back before a fight broke out.
"Honestly, can he think of anything but food?" Carla scolded.
"I can share you my fish," Happy said to her between bites.
"You're not helping!" Carla scolded at him.
"Alright you two break it up," Erza stated standing up.
"Perhaps maybe Levy might be able to know something," Lucy muttered.
"That could be a good idea!" Juvia agreed.
"Yeah!" Wendy agreed as well.
I abruptly stood up from my seat, making all of them turn to me.
"Natsu! You're a genius!" I practically shouted.
"Huh?!" They exclaimed confused.
"You found out how to turn your magic into fire?" Natsu questioned.
"What? No. I just need someone to eat my magic!" I exclaimed happily.
"But there's no such thing as a Light dragon slayer," Wendy questioned.
"Or a Spirit dragon slayer," Carla agreed.
"No, but there's a White dragon slayer and if you remember my magic..."
"Is white!" Lucy finished for me as the others understood.
"That could work," Gray muttered.
"Exactly! Prism!" I called as I stood up, grabbing my things.
Turning to the others I smiled as I said, "Thanks guys, tell the others if they come looking for me that I'm off... To Sabertooth!"
