Life goes on.
He looked sleepy after all that crying, I saw his massive bruising on the stomach as I helped the sweater on him. It was really alarming, I was thinking about whether or not to report it somewhere but I don't think it'll do him good. I felt the need to talk to him properly about it. What I'm only sure of is that he wants to hide them.
I can't take it off my mind.
We changed teachers, My favorite subject came in, which is music. I felt proud when our classmates started giving me a thumbs up and silent approval when I brought Jisung back.
Of course, I did it solely for Ji. Not for their validation. I don't want it to come off like that to him.
I pondered over what my sister said about me being attracted to him. My energy has been directed to Jisung lately.
It's true. A friend would do things that I do with him. We just got a lot closer this time around. I enjoy being around him, a lot, just the two of us. It doesn't feel as congested and forced whenever I hang with our other classmates or so. It was easy.
"Your project would be writing a song in groups of three..."
Everyone groaned out of frustration as they heard it our instructor laid out a new project.
And it did get a lot worse, When my name, Jisung, and Chan, are all mentioned consecutively. I saw Chan look back at me and Jisung.
"Maam, Can I switch to other groups if the group I'm migrating with agree on the member switch?" He raised his hands immediately and said with his now husky voice, blinking rapidly...
"No, Sit down, Mr. Han." He answered firmly and looked up for more hands wanting to ask questions.
Jisung sat down and bit his lip, looking upset.
"Maam, Isn't it a bit unfair that three of us in this group are already familiar and actively doing music, compared to the rest? Isn't it better to pair us up with others so we can guide them?"
Chan protested. It was unexpected when he spoke up. It only solidified the beef we smell from these two.
"You can still do so if you want to, but it will reflect no points or grades, and with that said, you three being experienced, I'll be expecting more from the three of you." He eyed Chan adjusting his glasses, seeing chan's sighs.
"And no, it isn't 'unfair' it's randomized. Mr. President. " The music teacher defended.
"I expect you all to work together in your respective groups, in harmony. "
Harmony?
This is not gonna be fun, but I guess this will allow them to properly sort this out and act as their mediator.
After that, we got grouped again for science and it's the killing blow. Jisung just stormed out of the class at lunch. I couldn't follow this time because I'm barricaded by my seolars.
Then the biology class made me think twice if I could mediate the two, maybe prevent them from fighting. Chan was mostly calm, yet Jisung was purposefully antagonizing the other. It was borderline childish. That's when I started taking the lead and instruct them instead of Chan giving out orders because Jisung is like-not kind at all. The paper filter I'm holding was burnt as Chan-hyung repeatedly call his name yet pretending he couldn't hear Chan nor he exists besides me.
Eventually, I didn't even let them touch the alcohol lamp and the beakers earlier because the tension is too high.
They might physically fight.
And that's how I got stuck with the two who feel like they'll murder each other at any given moment.
"I don't know what's between the two of you, but don't make it hard for me." I told them as we finished and tapped both their backs.
