Yes, this isn't a real story. But when writing it, we authors related to the story a lot. To us, at first.. It felt like we were writing our friendship in it. Even though we might not be friends anymore Phoenix and Moon will always be us. In some weird way... And we can't change that. Phoenix and Moon got off to a rocky start, but now are the best of friends! We wanted to make the story relatable and fun and heartwarming. And that's why all 50% of the funds in this book are going to the Montgomery Animal shelter. We love animals and that's why Phoenix and Moon are animals! Buying this is saving animals. I hope this book was relatable for you... We hope that your real-life Moon, or Phoenix... Is your best friend. I hope this isn't the last of Phoenix and Moon! Maybe we'll see their senior year? Or kids! Let's wait and see...

About The Authors:

Fe Channer is a young author who has written three other books with the help of her mom and her friends who have been there for comfort and ideas. She is keeping her grades balanced while being a YouTuber at the same time! This book, to her, was very fun to write with her friends. She likes to make people laugh and make them happy. Moon is Fe Channer's ORIGINAL character, and she's the real-life Moon!

Lyriq Brown is a Ten-year-old author who has a dream to give 50% of sales to an animal shelter! Many bullies and mean people told her she couldn't do it but she kept trying! As a young author, she also had school, so it was hard to fit in time to write this book. She asked friends and family to help pitch it with ideas, so her thanks go to them. Lyriq Brown can relate to this book from her fellow author. Friend Abby Maurileo and Friend Gabbierlle Davis both were in this book, as Rubie and Zero.
