The previous chapter got cut in half so it was left hanging. I have updated it but I'm not sure if it's really complete. Do read the previous chapter again and tell me if it's complete or not.
Only two or three chapters left till we draw the curtains on this book and I resume the others...

Neji was sulking. Like a five year old. Tenten had no right to out him on it because she was also sulking. No, they didn't have a fight– their fights were weirdly physical- don't ask– but Tenten was leaving. For her masters at a college of science at Otogakure. Away from home. Away from Neji.
For. Six. Freaking. MONTHS!
(A/N: I don't know how long it takes to get a master's degree in real life but let's just imagine that this is the system in the Five Great Nations)
Poor Neji. He was already missing his fiance. Tenten wasn't better off, she was already getting the familiar heart break that was associated with missing a lover.
On the night before she was supposed to leave, Tenten and Neji spent their last hours on Neji's couch, just holding each other and whispering sweet nonsense...I meant nothings...to each other.
"I would write everyday to you." Neji promised.
"Letters take a long time to arrive." Tenten mumbled dejectedly.
"Yeah..."
The both of them trailed off into the silence. There was no advanced technology yet in the time setting of their story so letters were the way to go. Or a landline. And speaking as a girl born in the 20th century, landlines suck.
She missed him everyday. Tenten had made some friends in Oto that admired her ring and asked who her fiancé was...it didn't help matters. Neji's letters could be mistaken for a textbook with how lengthy they always were and hers were no different.
But still...
Letters weren't enough. She wanted to see him, to hold him again. The time passed had adapted her to his absence but hadn't done anything to stop her from pining for her fiance.
And like she made a wish to a genie, her wish came true!
She was in class one day, looking absently at her course mates who were discussing about one handsome guy they just saw when the best thing that had happened to her throughout the last few months.
Her class was atop a small hill so she saw him coming from afar. At first she thought she had missed him so much that she was hallucinating him but then her course mates started squealing. Neji was the handsome subject topic they were discussing about.
The man came to a halt outside the window she was looking out, smiling at her flabbergasted face, and said, "surprise."
It took a moment to ascertain that she wasn't in a daydream but when she did, she jumped out the window and on him, causing them both to tumble on the floor. "Neji!"
Neji laughed, eyes twinkling as he took in her face again and again. She was even more beautiful than he remembered and what he remembered was a goddess. Oh God, he missed her so much.
"Neji? This is your fiance?!"
Unfortunately, their moment was broken by Tenten's course mates but it was okay because Neji was spending a week with her. Keeping her company. He was on a semester break at his own school back at Konoha– he had resumed his education – so he decided to spend out of it with Tenten.
They spent that week planning for their wedding even if it was just for laughs.

Fanfic"Hmm, tastes just as I imagined." Were his only words to her for stealing her first kiss. Tenten blinked rapidly. "You kissed me!" She gasped. "Yes. I want to do it again." Neji replied just as one would when talking about the weather.
