1. The original plot I planned for this story ended with Neji dying of asphyxiation four years into he and Tenten's marriage, leaving Tenten as a widow who would forever miss him. I'd tell you why but aren't you glad I decided to change it? 😁
2. The story you just read is a true one. Well, most of it. I did make up some parts (Neji using his hair as an engagement ring, the compensation proposal and the whole wedding) but yeah, this is a story of how my mum met my dad.
As you have probably guessed, my dad's name is Lolu! Nice name huh? I wish I was named after him but I'd just name my kid Lolu instead.
He's been dead for fifteen, going on sixteen, years now and really, the only memory I have of him is the night he died. I was sleeping beside him when he suddenly asphyxiated and the next thing I knew, there was an ambulance and he died on the way to the hospital.
My mum never remarried or had another boyfriend, to show how much of soulmates they were. Their love story is so cute (if you look past the cringe and trauma of imagining your parents kissing) so I decided to share it.
